Hi Sprit,

MX Clear is a option?
If yes, I would like to switch from MX Brown to Clear and edit my order!
Plesse confirm :)

Edit: Updated my order to say that I would prefer MX Clear over MX Brown.
I would still like to be notified if MX Clear is possible or not, please, so I can edit my order to be less confusing for you guys.

From what I can tell sprit may have already fulfilled all the orders with MX Clears, and since Cherry does not product them anymore, he might not be able to get additional stock.

It's worth a PM. Maybe he has just enough for you.

Hmm, I was hoping for some angles/lines in the design of the metal cases. It looks pretty plain from my perspective.

Noob with a question here.

So I just want a new case for my KBT Pure. Can I order just the acrylic 60% case for 70 bucks? And that price includes shipping?

Also, I was a bit confused by the OP. Will the acrylic sheets be bolted together with visible bolts or are they glued together?

Oh and I can just drop in the PCB as it is with switches and all right? No need to desolder and resolder?

Thankss

Hi sprit,

That case looks awesome, now that is one more way to hack my wallet. But you have to know that the success of that case depends on the success  and result of the first round gb. I notice you are avoiding the status update of the shipping. You mention that shipping will be restarted this week  but it is weekend now and there is still no word about it, except for the case. Please let us know the ETA of the shipment and not just promises. As far as I know, the only thing that would delay the shipping is smd soldering and the springs but I think the spring issue has been settled last week. Does the pcb still on soldering processes? An update about this would highly be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jorge

That looks really thick. Could you post the dimensions of the case? Including the thickness of the sides around the keyboard. They look like a solid 1-1.5cm.

Refer to this: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=50580.msg1194982#msg1194982

There were rumors about some proxying to reduce shipping costs, but not a lot of transparency. He did say explicitly that if the original invoice was inaccurate (e.g. if proxying happens and everyone's shipping is cheaper or EMS changes their pricing), he'd invoice again (or refund).

Can you mix an ISO and ANSI layout on this PCB? EG if I wanted the ANSI return but the shorter shift and additional key would it be possible to do so on one board?

Also if I were to order a PCB now, how long would it take before it is shipped?

Basically You can mix ISO and ANSI,  You can mod Keymap as You like.  :)

I am doing restart shipping for the 1st Round at this moment,   ;)    so, if You order now, You need wait for the the MOQ.

Cool, is there a link to the current status of orders? I don't care much for the color of the PCB as I intend to plate-mount.

Awesome news Sprit!

I use Ps2AvrU for my Aikon boards now, and it works on my Mac flawlessly.

Did anyone see which acrylic colors made MOQ? sprit mentioned in a PM that one of my colors didn't reach MOQ but I don't know which one failed to meet MOQ nor which colors made it through production (other than clear which he mentioned explicitly).

Just answering my own question since sprit PM'd me. I misread his PM--acrylic _cases_ mostly met MOQ so I got the white/black/white I ordered. The _plates_ are mostly clear though (because of MOQ and production issues?)
