One question that I'm dying to ask, and I hope this isn't too premature, but are these CNC cases going to be "low-profile" like those aluminium Pure CNC cases a while back? I really loved the low sides that went just a tiny bit higher than the actual PCB.

I had just ran across tinlong's post on DT for these CNC cases. He stated they were ALU in his post, but we'll see.

And count me in. I'd love to see one of these cases with a plate-mounted board for comparison.

Ehm, the ones with the thick front wall are indeed $102. The same (cases) as pexon's cases.
The cheap 'metal' (read: metal scrap) black one is as pexon listed: $50
And in my personal opinion it also looks like that. It looks very cheap.

I like the 'regular' cases, though. Especially the fat front lip.

They will fit the Poker and Pure.

I didn't say they were the best quality cases, they may be made with left over materials, but they are 50 USD, its very competitive price.

I can also get the >100 USD cases no issues.

Will they look silly if you're using one with a plate? i.e. will the plate be higher than the top of the case?

Exactly my thoughts. Honestly, a metal case will be much tougher, better to type on and much less flex than plastic.

In the pictures, it appears there are circular indentations on the bottom of the CNC case. If they're not already included I'd imagine one could just get some rubber feet and stick them on.
