Diodes from Joseph got here really quick, will solder them in tonight and test the board out then submit pics.

Overall impressed with the support.

Hi everyone,

Still waiting for a few responses for the email I sent out the other day regarding a color change.

Other than that, the remaining units are going out tomorrow, and we will be complete.

--

If you're experiencing PCB issues, I have been getting a lot of issues of the PCBs QC being weird after a lot of use. Just shoot me an email, and we'll try to troubleshoot, or worst come to shove, I'll send a replacement for it.

---

Then an inventory will be done of all remaining pieces for the extra's sale, A and B stock.

---

All pieces available in this GB will be available in some form or another (A or B stock).

---

Mousepads, are available in A and B stock.

Mousepads will be rerun for in March in another flavor.

--

Regarding future M65 sales, and what not. Unfortunately, it has come to a time where I can't support this type of big GB anymore.

We'll be having retail sales of the M65 in other color flavors in the coming months.

--

Besides that, I want to apologize for how tragic this GB has been. I never imagined it being dragged this long, and the fault is mine, and mine alone. I don't wish to get into it, as it is a lot of my personal life,  and me allowing it cross over into my work life. I understand the frustration, and everything, but it's long past it, and I apologize for the horrible experience/

Cheers, and hope your day is well.

Thanks for the transparency. Do you know what colors will be available in the retail stock as opposed to the a and b stock from the GB?

Didn't see this before

Thanks for running this GB through your family issues, hope things get better for you soon.

Just a quick thing:

GB complete means packages have been dispatched /tracking sent out.

Support doesn't end. I still have some emails to tend to, but it's a Saturday, so I'll be seeing those on Monday, cheers.

Oh, and extra's will be on sale mid next week, after we complete an inventory.

How the sale will be conducted:

- Not As Kits
- Pick your Part, like you want it.

For example, you will have all of these parts to choose from, some more limited than others.

- A Stock Top Black
- A Stock Top Rose Gold
- A Stock Top Champagne
- B Stock Bottom Black
- Hydro Blue Plate
- Black Plate
- Weight
- Feet
- PCB

etc etc.

There are no complete kits sold for this. You can to assemble you kit as you see fit, and opt for anything you want.

Other colors will come out at retail pricing, but as complete kits. I'm hoping to improve the ecosystem of the M65A by trying to stock parts for it on an ongoing basis for a little while.

A complete A stock kit is : $430 - $500, the upper scale being if you opt for qmk, brass plate, and aluminum bottom.

For those interested in comparing the pricing, the $500 unit was $305 during the GB.

Will you be responding to anything to do with Master Control Rebirth? Will these funds be used to refund? ;)

Email sent about lack of updates 40 days ago, no response, no update, no notion of any refund. What gives?
Same here, I sent an email 3 weeks ago and another one 1 week ago.  No response yet.  :(

It's sad getting updates on this thread.

I'm thankful I asked for a refund when he first offered because I realized I had too many keysets. Boy did I dodge a bullet.

He's really been MIA for a while now and it's becoming rather concerning especially how he's launched other products. Was contemplating getting BKE domes but I think I'm gonna steer clear for now unless he starts resolving his outstanding customer commitment issues.

I know he's had personal issues which is very unfortunate but it becomes a little inexcusable when you start launching other things also.

Still no reply, nor refund for this.

I want to believe! If we just can get a status update on if it’s reasonably possible it can be fulfilled or just a dead case. I really need the Nordic keys for my more-than-year old project to finish. :)

I have sent a few emails asking for a refund over the last month, I got no replies.  I got quick replies for questions I had about the BKE domes though, so I know my emails are going through.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It'll be resolved next week, cheers

Request that the sale be opened later in the day (around 5pm PST?) so I'm not locked into doing something at work. I would like to try for an alu bottom to make this thing truly complete.

Thank you!

- A Stock Top Champagne
- B Stock Bottom Black
- Hydro Blue Plate
- Black Plate
- Weight
- Feet
- PCB

???

i believe there are about 80 board's worth of parts, so the selection should be pretty good

Depends on the printer, tbh.

SLA or a bigger FDM? :O

Just curious, since my friend recently got a Laser SLA Printer, and has printed a bunch of awesome stuff on it.

I have a Monoprice Maker Select 2.1 that **** the bed (burned bed heater connector) that I need to rebuild or replace. I've been looking at the Ultibots D300VS+ and the Prusa i3 MK3.

Took a look at SLA tonight, but I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of it.

Screws are probably part of any bottom piece or so, doubt they'll have to be ordered separately. If you order a top, a bottom, a PCB and a Plate, you should have everything you need to assemble it (minus switches, keycaps and cable of course, stabilizers I'm not sure, possibly only included in future 'complete kits').

On 2-14, if anyone wanted to submit their DIY tutorial, please submit it below.

https://goo.gl/forms/XMOBUpowupgVqE8C2

Currently, there are 20 submissions, which is more than I expected :)

How you'll be chosen:
- The quality of the guide (photo quality does NOT count, as I'm aware that people do not have high quality cameras). Quality of the guide means, description, how in-depth you go describing the process, or tools, and parts you use.
- Personalization: How you added your own personal spice the guide. Whether that's jokes, or memes, whatever it is - Make it yours & own it :).

Reward!
- There are TWO reward options you can choose from, and there is only 1 winner :).
- Brass Plate + PCB + Additional Base (if i have that color) w/ Shipping to your location (global, open)
- 50% Off M65-A R2 Base Kit whenever that happens

Don't assume anything... like how I assumed a set of feet would be included with each base I bought.

How smooth are those? If I can snag an extra tomorrow, I'm gonna order some from Zeal. I have theirs on my Zeal60 and they feel great.

I don't know about stock, but they feel great lubed. Unless looks matter to you, I have yet to learn about the added value in Zeal stabs (R2).

My Zeal stabs are both quiet and smooth...and un-lubed. No rattle at all. All the other stabs I've used recently are noisy and mushy.

Didn’t JChan link/upload the plate and PCB files up somewhere? Could anyone link it again?

I would love to get a polycarbonate plate someday.

I have Zeal stabs in mine, and I highly recommend them. Very smooth and quiet with no rattle at all. That said, I have only used GMK plate mounted stabs in other boards and not the PCB mounted variety, so I am not comparing apples to apples.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

The world has become a weird place.

I don't remember anything about the PCB files, but this might be what you're looking for.

Edit: Much better content including PCB files in the next post.

Plate file is here. Feel free. I was thinking about making some acrylic ones with my laser printer cutter. lmao

---

Screws are included in the kits, if you get a complete one.

However, if you require screws, just email support@keyclack.com and just pay for the postage for the screw set, along with your M65A order number or confirmation from the extras sale.

---

Yes, screw in stabs work as they were included. Zeal variant or GMK Screw in Stabs work of course.

---

We are low on weights and plates for these, but we'll have some in March as we'll have a new shipment of parts.

---

For those wondering, future retail sales will be priced lower for kits, and as we continue to bring in new parts, we're also looking to adding to the line as well.

--

Cheers, and let me know if you have any other questions.

I was planning to have a polycarb plate made, but maybe I'll see how acrylic turns out :)

I've had a a few 60% polycarb plates water cut before and it turned out pretty nice.  It always has a few scratches, but the material is flexible and strong.  Makes for a pretty nice plate.

Successfully retrieved my order and I gotta say the packaging is quite excellent - definitely a box worth keeping even though it won't hold my board once it's together  :p Think I'm gonna have to photograph everything before I even consider putting it all together, it's just too nice.

*snip*
I'm thinking R9 Zealio Zilent 78g switches (dark blue)... Thoughts?

Was looking at these right when I read your post... they look pretty fantastic and Zeal says they'll show up this month. I'm probably gonna wait for these & the screw-in gold stabs before I build (may as well go all out for something this nice)

If you have any questions, just send it to support@keyclack.com ; thanks and have a good rest of your weekend everyone.

You mention other colors being available as kits. Will this be available next week along with the a la carte options?
