CPT has totally gotten me on the hype train of using lens adapters. Now I just need to pick out a good camera. Decisions!

Pfft, I've been using adapters since before it was cool.

Know any good, cheap extension tubes?  I need one for macro shots.

I haven't used extension tubes, but I think photek has - he might have some recommendations. I've just been using adapters to use old analog lenses with my camera.  :)

Fotodiox has extension tubes for sale. I picked up one of their adapters for my incoming lens so I'll let you know how I like that adapter. And lol I'm way behind Hoff's level. Just happy to discover the adapters at all.

And I impulse bought a Hello Kitty Game Boy Color yesterday

I started getting in on these artisan keycaps sales that are popping up left and right. I never thought I would be someone to buy in to what looks at first like a gimmick compared to purchasing new keyboards/full keysets. Currently I'm in on:

Wob Keyboard Ninja (Design series)
ZorbCaps Templar
Deep Sea and Red Warmasters

I need to stop!

My grandfather was 1/2 Cherokee.

If he were still alive I know he would love this cap just for the art alone.

I used to have a neighbour who drove a Jeep Cherokee, if that's any help.

Actually the guy was a complete antisocial psychotic bastard who eventually got evicted, but that's another story.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Nothing suited so I wrote my own ;D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
