And Winkeyless is the way to roll with these keycaps!

Yes listen to this man, you can't let this Keyset head into SP molds without the Winkeyless Set it would be so disgusting and ignorant.  We here are not your average key-set collectors only looking at furnishing our Filcos, Ducky's and second-hand G80-3000 series keyboards, WE are the HARD-CORE, addicted individuals that eat, sleep and dream about our keyboards.

Hence this last great Winkeyless Set MUST go through because for a Group Buy to be truly successful it MUST have the order numbers to show the world that we are not Windows-Addicted Morons only worshiping ONE software company above everything else on this planet.

Show your independence from Gatesie's Monstrosity and buy one kit, if not for yourself then for your own soul when the time comes to depart this mortal life.

hello.
i'm so interested in this groupbuy.
i have a question about this keycap's color.

this keycap's color is same with (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=55640)<- picture of this page's classic one?
or that of your profile picture?

actually, http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=55640 <- this one is so good to me
but, your picture's color is, i think it's so bright to me.

Only one left for winkeyless to tip.
If no one else gets it by the end of the GB I will tip it.
That said, I don't really need a second WKL, if I get it I'll probably do something stupid like getting one more of all kits.

Sorry that it took me so long to finally put my order down, that also means that winkeyless just tipped.
Hopefully we'll see some more orders so that nobody has to keep his second winkeyless kit just for tipping it.

Can't wait to see production samples of this set.

Oboy, think I'm going to have to wait for SA Retro as my next set... Wallet is pooped, but awesome keycaps will be coming my way!

Happy with my GH GB set orders so far: Cherry Legend Replicas, Nostalgia, Ivan's black PBT, GMK Dolch and now this. It's time to put together some new boards to hold them all (I have a couple of NerD60 PCB's on order)  ;)  These may well end up on Ghost Black switches. There seem to have been a lot of old terminal boards with tall profile caps and linear switches.

Yeah, I cracked.

Three incoming SA sets. I hope I end up liking SA profile!

I'm going to tell my wife how thoughtful she was later this afternoon.

These will look great on my G80-2100HDU - no Big Ass Enter, but it should still look like it belongs in a missile silo.

Two hours left to hit the next tier, and the donate-to-GH level.

Can't spare $63 meself, but I'm bumping to remind folks who can, and are on the fence still.

Edit: one hour, and six copies left.

If we can organize a last run on the GB to tip it past 100 I'm willing to get another set.
I don't really need it though, and reselling is hard from norway since postage is insane here, so I can't just go for it.

I would guess that end of month/beginning of month are pretty common paydays, plus mid-month (15th), for people paid twice a month.  Then you've got paid-every-two-weeks-on-Friday, which is a lot harder to track.

I would suggest GB end dates should always be on Fridays, that covers the majority of payday cycles.

Then shouldn't this be raised with Melissa about when end and start dates for future Group Buys be held?  Remember they're only a company hence they have no idea about people's pay days whatsoever or if they are even interested in changing the current regime.

Like to see if SP (aka PMK) decides to bend to our payment discretion concerning end dates, for future Group Buys  ;) .

Yeah currently you only get the FINAL total when it comes through Paypal and removed from that account.  Then you finally see what you're actually paying  ::) .

Actually paid today in the morning, when Paypal notified me of the amount taken out via - email.

More like 6 to 8 weeks if the last few GBs are any indication.  SP just took a massive order for Granite R2 and it's probably ahead of us in the production schedule.  Midnight DCS took over 2 months from start to delivery, and it was a comparatively small run.  Prepare for November and hope for earlier.

My invoice arrived, but it doesn't have the WinKeyLess set on that I ordered after the other kits. Have others who ordered "in parts" also received invoices for just the first group of kits? Should I just pay the first invoice and expect a later one for the other kit?

This happened to me as well, and I'm not sure the answer to your question.  :|  I do know that mine said they re-invoiced because the hold on my paypal had expired.  So perhaps the hold I placed for the first order expired, while the more recent purchases did not?  I'm not entirely sure what's going on there.

It's pretty strange. It has the updated prices in it ($64 for the base kit for example), so it would seem to be an invoice for the actual thing, but I would have thought they'd combine the payments. Actually I made 3 orders (main order of base + a few kits, then some orange caps, then the WinKeyLess). Perhaps I can expect 3 invoices.

Granite R2 is still DSA?  These are SA - different equipment.  Provided PMK have enough people to run the equipment, there shouldn't be that much of a clash!

Oh, then add another 3 weeks or so for packages to reach Australia
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I got a second invoice for my winkeyless kit almost right after I got my other invoice just so you know.

So... Now we wait 4-6 weeks. Which should mean anywhere from October 8th to October 22nd?

More like 6 to 8 weeks if the last few GBs are any indication.  SP just took a massive order for Granite R2 and it's probably ahead of us in the production schedule.  Midnight DCS took over 2 months from start to delivery, and it was a comparatively small run.  Prepare for November and hope for earlier.

Granite R2 is still DSA?  These are SA - different equipment.  Provided PMK have enough people to run the equipment, there shouldn't be that much of a clash!

Oh, then add another 3 weeks or so for packages to reach Australia

They could use the different molds on the same injection machines.  ;)

I received one invoice, but it was complete and accurate and it's now paid.

My invoice arrived, but it doesn't have the WinKeyLess set on that I ordered after the other kits. Have others who ordered "in parts" also received invoices for just the first group of kits? Should I just pay the first invoice and expect a later one for the other kit?

Same here.  My invoice was missing the orange blanks and Macro kit that I purchased later.  I put a note in my PalPal payment for it.  I'm fairly confident Melissa will catch it.

I have paid for everything the first time it was ordered and the money supplied yet SP didn't email the amount of items bought in each section of this Group Buy BUT they got the total amount of payment correct.  Hence you have to trust them to make the appropriate amount of key-caps for you.

Never been gypped by them before like receiving less amounts of caps than what you paid for.  Overall they've been really honest and decent about the whole process despite my craggy and stupid, old coffin-dodger behaviour.

When dealing with manufacturers these guys Signature Plastics, really do provide an excellent customer service focus compared to any other world-wide.  I know we keep kicking them for every little cause and bullsh1t disturbance in the force (my fault) but really, they have done good in delivering what we've originally paid for - every time :thumb: .

Thanks for the replies, guys. Well I paid the invoice and here's hoping it all goes smoothly :)

I'm now waiting for items from 7 GB's.....!
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.
