today's CV is so freaking fast I cant even reply... just mere 2 mins plus????
 :'( :'( :'( :'(

I didn't want the shame of splurting 'awrgaerwg' into the thread without reading through the rules, but then tonight was fastest fingers first   By the time I'd popped my glasses on it was all over. Time for my old bones to try and recover from the CV adrenaline dump and take a sip of tea.

"shaking hands" with "clients".

I'm gonna have to start calling my **** 'The Client'
There's so many applications.

"Sorry, I'm in a meeting with The Client. My hands are full."
"The Client is demanding to be handled with individualized attention."
"Synergistic vertical integration is a  defining characteristic of The Client."
"The Client came at me with a hard offer, but after spitballing for a while we were able to clean up a sticky situation and soften the impact."

I dunno the one he posted with the ogres eating the skull and the gnome watching was amazing!

That's my favorite.  I had fun making the photo I used as a base and I just had fun with it as a concept.  I'm just mad I accidentally saved it as a JPEG instead of a PNG.  All that nasty JPEG artifacting.

True, but it was a trace (not that it detracts from it). This one looks freestyle.

It's a hybrid.  Parts of it I had a base, parts I did free hand.  Even if I have a base, I still have to figure it how I'm going to shade it.

It was fun putting a Clack in a shark onesie though.

The fun you had totally comes through, I think it's my fav original GH illustration!

...Rowdy wonders whether CC has hidden camera in Rowdy's room and was waiting for Rowdy to leave the room.

Wonder no longer, cuz I do! shhhhh.... 8)
nice undies btw

Now I know you don't.  Rowdy told me he prefers to go au natural at home

after he ensures that there aren't any spiders, scorpions, drop bears, snakes, kangaroos, or deadly bushes hiding in his room.

I can't do that - it would give my daughter a fright!

Missed this sale too - I was at work, where I get funny looks if I'm on GH all day :(
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

If I really need to I can always file extensions for people, but if they owe money then the firm has to eat the cost of the penalties assessed so I just gotta get those ones done by the 18th!  Most of my work for the rest of the day is just responding to emails, emailing returns and vouchers out, returning phone calls, along with a couple phone calls to the Health Insurance Marketplace and a whopper of a call to the IRS which is gonna take like 3 hours so that might happen tomorrow instead.
