Hello I am newwwwwww
« on: Sat, 12 January 2013, 05:49:25 »
Okay I have been from one end to the web to the next and FOREVER I have been bounced back here so I decided it was time to make an account. The first thing I do on this site is make an account right? IT TOOK ME A HALF HOUR lol these questions get ya if you haven't used USB for a keyboard since the damn things became available for usb -_-..... so I am sitting there typing "PS/2" "ps2" "ps/2" "ps 2?" just blowing my mind on this, then I finally was like NO NO NO NO NONONONONO they couldn't have meant USSSSFREAKIN-B and they did, so yeah fun times to be had already  ;D

Welcome to Geekhack!

It is just one last chance for you to save your wallet - but now you are here.

Maybe I'm a little behind the trends, but your CPU is running at 4.8GHz??  How stable is it?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

lol sorry to let you guys down on the overclock, that is what I was hoping for anyway
I have 4.5GHz 1.264V, I am using a push/pull with noctua's I wanted to see how stable I could get it with a low budget comp, that is low budget for me because of the cooler (hyper 212+) I could get it WAY higher on a liquid cooler (or a high end one) remember thermal paste matters  ;) but anyway 4.5 is now stable I am on my laptop while building that computer OCing and junk, right now I am OCing my gpu (super simple) then I am done
With the fans on the highest rpm I could prolly do it BUT I am a quiet freak OTHER then my keyboard so I keep them quiet as shizzz
ANYWAY :P
I am not a money spender, I am super satisfied with my quickfire TK and have had many other keyboards including duckies, corsair(ew), razer(LOL), Rosewill, Matius and a few others

The most I would put on this site would prolly be them jolly something keycaps (yum)

I prefer lettering so idk though
Not because I cannot remember I just actually like the look of lettering (call me crazy) :P
and the tk uses LED so I would want to have them glow (I am sure they do anyways)
