Hello everyone. I had visited this place a few times in the past and always wanted to be a part of the keyboard enthusiast group someday. I simply love the way there are so many different options when it comes to keyboards, and that's not even taking in to consideration the variations you can have with keycaps.
Somehow I never got around to buying a mechanical keyboard myself. But I'm ready to pick one up now. I'm here to find a good keyboard to start with. Ofcourse it won't be my last. Should I be worried about my wallet if I'm already foreseeing a Topre on my desk in the future?

Good gawd, man!  Don't START with the Topre!  Whatever will you work up to later?!   

I kid, I kid.  Never owned a Topre, probably never will, happily clacking away on my multitude of Cherry MX, Alps, and buckling spring boards.  The price of entry was so low, I told myself, I'd be able to try a lot of styles for not much money.  Hah!
