So I'm about 2yrs late, but I'm somewhat obsessed with getting nice alu case for a Topre board, specifically an fc660 or a TKL, but I've never really cared for the lines of most Norbauer cases, with a the Norbatouch being an exception--it's hard to dislike a design that earnest and traditional. Also never really cared for the RF R1 forehead, so I'm down to the TX-66c until someone makes an R2 case.

What should I be offering for a TX-66c if I can find one being sold again? All I have ever seen being sold or traded are white TX-66c, were the black and grey units produced in lower numbers?

Typewriters are worth whatever they are on ebay (or your local marketplace) unless it has an uncommon typeface (usually script, but there are more obscure ones like gothic, vogue, ect. Those run in the 300+ some being over 2k)
