Anything from oldschool Nickelodeon, IE-rugrats, catdog, rocko's modern life, etcYes! Good stuff! I could do Rocko's, Heffer's, Philberts, Mr and Mrs Bighead's voices at one time. Don't forget Doug--my brother and I would sing the theme song doing the two part harmony every time, lol.
I'm obsessed with cartoons.Me too! I saw the first Spongebob movie in the theater. I was probably the only grown up there without kids laughing as much as the kids.
Spongebob
The old WB cartoons with Road Runner and Cayote and Bugs Bunny
Dexter's Lab
Powerpuff Girls
It's hard to go wrong with phineas and ferb.Yep, can't beat them. They have a lot of plot development for such a short cartoon. Did you ever see the movie?
I'm a HUGE fan of the Avatar series and I still love me some Dragon Ball

The WB classics are awesome. There's no 'poof' noise like Coyote off a cliff.
I loved Dexter's lab! I got his voice down pretty good, but it's been a few years that I've tried.
I actually have a signed, very, very, very limited edition (like 10 of them) signed poster from Craig Macraken (sp?), the creator of the Powerpuff Girls. There was a message board back in the day when the show first came out and I was like one of the top 3 posters, lol. I've got to find that poster. It's going to bug me now...

I would love to see that poster.
And I can't believe I didn't mention Penguins of Madagascar. The new series on Netflix is really fun.
In addition to those mentioned, these are some of my favorites:
- HARVEY BIRDMAN (seriously, how many times do I have to say this :P )

Hooooooly **** I keep forgetting about this cartoon and I have every episode downloaded. Such an amazing show. "Ha HA... dangly parts."

Need more Birdman (the actual one, not that weird movie) fans here!
No love for Adventure Time?
Tons of episodes on Netflix, the later seasons get some really awesome story lines. Especially the last 3.
Thundercats
I knew people would recognize Thundercats. Your friend should check out Silverhawks as it was created by the same producers as "a space-bound equivalent of their previous series, ThunderCats." My brother and I loved watching it back in the day and actually were influenced by it quite a bit as our school art drawings from that time indicate.Thundercats
My buddy bought all the thundercats episodes on DVD from amazon. LOVE that show!

It might take some time to grow on him, but after it does he might even like it more than Thundercats--by the time they cancelled it, my brother and I liked it better than TC.I knew people would recognize Thundercats. Adventure Time
Bob's Burgers
South Park
metalocalypse
sealab 2021
oh and Venture Bros
for venture bros and metalocalypse you really need to watch from the start :)
I have been really enjoying Bob's Burgers. Way more than I thought I would.
At first I felt quite turned off by some of the characters, but after watching for a bit, I felt that all of the characters especially Bob and the kids have redeeming qualities. That said, still not a big fan of Teddy or Linda. Really love the kids, they're all great for different reasons.

All of the below + One Punch Man!

One Punch Man is pretty amazing, my friend just showed it to me this weekend. A great deconstruction of the super hero concept.

Who would have known a show about an unbeatable hero would be so fun?
I have recently fell back in love with Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies because of this video.Great documentary!

Why unopened? You gotta enjoy it too! ;) Plus, this way you know everything works. :DAHHHH! Real Monsters.Such a great show! I could do the voices of almost all the main characters back in the day. I did Oblena and the teacher (forgot him/her name) really well. Good times!
If I could find out where to get that whole show on dvd/blu ray I'd buy it in a heartbeat, keep it unopened for years to come then show it to my future kids.
No one's said Family Guy yet? JEEEEEEEZ
They took all the subtleties of each character and made them so over-pronounced.

I really, really want to love Bojack Horseman but I just don't find it that compelling. The characters are great (except for Todd), the gags are great, the themes are great, but it doesn't form a cohesive whole that I love as much as I feel like I should.
I have heard that. I'm two or three eps into season 2.

Ah. Then it is not for you, I suppose. :-/

Yeah, I enjoyed Spongebob more in the earlier seasons.
The first three seasons of spongebob were amazing. I think they changed writers after that though and it quickly became awful
So with running out of Bob's Burgers episodes to watch, a few years until more Rick and Morty, what should I check out that would be similar and enjoyable? I like fun stuff, but nothing brain-dead stupid. In fact, Rick and Morty was especially awesome because of how sci-fi and smart it was haha.

Also, Stephen Hillenburg departed after the first Spongebob movie in 2004, IIRC.

TTG anything can never be the best anything by sheer default of it being a human travesty of a creation.
