Anyone else have issues using isopropyl on their keyboards? Ive been using it to clean my majestouch - cleaning the keys im fine, but whenever I use it on the frame it always leaves a black residue on the cloth, no matter how many times I try and clean the same spot. Im just wondering if its safe, or is it possibly corroding the plastic? :s

This is just a quote pulled off of some MSDSs on the web, there's some debate over whether or not you should use it to clean plastics.

its probally eating your coating but i had no issues with my steelseries and zowie keyboards as long as i just rub the keys fast and the cloth is not completely soaked in isopropryl

I use Lysol wipes. They haven't damaged any of my keyboards (yet).

I get "Spiritus Aethylicus" from Pharmacy. That should be about 9 parts Ethanol and 1 part distilled water solution. Being used for dermatological treatment, I guess it's pure.
