Both are good. No one company makes the best of every tool. Not all of Wiha's tools are made in Germany. I mix and match based on utility, quality, and value but I usually prefer Wiha.

For the krauts lets also throw in Wera and Felo into this discussion. For 'Merica there is Klein and Greenlee. I'm sure there are lots of others we could add.

In this case it depends on your purpose.
One is more comfortable, the other has more leverage or lower profile.

Personally, I would take the Wiha, not because I think they are better but because not only can you turn it on it's side and get better leverage, or slide under things, but it has a ball end and a flat end. Ball ends are notorious for stripping fasteners and should never be your only option.

I’m rarely impressed with the hype attached to products but I”m very impressed with the working end of Wiha screwdrivers. I’ve used many different brands and Wiha’s tips retain their shape and bite immeasurably better than any other brand i’ve used. I can’t speak to the hex wrenches pictured but have yet to regret buying a Wiha.

I don’t like the material choices they make for their handles though. They feel a little slippery in the hand and mar pretty easily.

You need to try some Wera hex plus hex keys. Those won't snap. Well, they shouldn't unless you're undoing a seized fastener, in which case you'll need to use excessive torque and anything will probably snap.

They don't seem to sell this in a set..  I guess that makes sense for high end..

Been having no problems with my 65-part micro-bit set from Wiha. Been taking apart typewriters, keyboards, flashlights, calculators, V2 rockets... NO problem!

+1 for Wiha
They've stood up to abuse which has ruined lesser tools.
