Update: (06/14/2018) - Hello again! So we got updated renders back from GMK, but there were still some issues with the novelties that I needed to be changed. Want to make sure they are on point. So, we have sent back feedback and requested the changes to GMK. Once we get them back and I am fine with how they look, we will request pricing and finalize the kits. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Update: (05/28/2018) - Greetings everyone! Just wanted to let you know at this point we are just waiting on GMK to get back to us about kit pricing etc. From what I understand the main point of contact is on Vacation right now and will not be back until 6/4/18. Once he returns, I am hoping we get our feedback / pricing and renders from GMK to confirm we have everything in order. After we sort all that fun stuff out, we will be announcing the GB dates!

I am so happy to update that based on the vote and other requests / input I have received from you that we now have a finalized base kit and even updated some of our other kits like the "Grey" kit and "Spacebar" kit to include a 6u offset spacebar. The kits have been updated on the original / top post above.

Black and Red is my favorite color scheme/combo so that was a no brainer since I don't think it's offered often.
White does go well with everything but I was really hoping for a set more focused on black/red instead of being majority white. This still looks pretty nice through. There's a pretty high chance I'll get it if the icon mods are changed and the alphas are a slightly darker hue.
I have no problem with icon mods, btw, just not into the ones in the render.

I concur. I simply dislike this set of icons on the nav cluster.I don't like the way it looks.We already talked on Discord but I want to put this comment so others can chime in. I personally like the idea of a kit that can cover the most common 60% layouts in persona-ish icon mods. Idk what those would be but maybe something like expanding the novelty kit to become a 60% icon kit, similar to what blocknet was for gmk laser.

Haha, yes, that is the goal of this set, Multiple Colorway options in it. Black and White - Black, Red, White - Black, Grey, White.
I want you all to be able to enjoy this set and mix it up at the same time. As I said before, I want to create a series of these reflecting the Persona universe, and I wanted compatibility but uniqueness between them all.

That's fair. I see Persona 5 as more of a majority black-red than a majority white with black-red accents but I respect your decision and will support this IC.
I wish I could put some input (but I'm not really the creative type haha) but the main thing I'd like to see improved is the icon mods. I don't mind icon mods at all. I just don't really like the current ones.

So the colors I was basing off of are on the collectors edition of the game. Wish we could have used silver but lol there aren't any keycaps from GMK...but maybe....I can speak to someone who has awesome metallic caps...ahem...

Is any of the renders a GMK made one? I asked because some of the icons and some legends do not match actual Cherry legends, unless there were new molds in the works.
The "Meta" icon will probably be a new mold. Other than that, they should all be the same Icons that muted has. I just made these myself for reference.
We want to finalize exactly what we are aiming for first. Then will request the GMK renders to confirm its good to go and post on here.

We are definitely considering timing for this set as well. I just don't want to delay it too long because of the fear of other sets. I hope any other GB's for caps do well but I'm not really gunning for competition on anyone else if that makes sense. I also have some ideas I want to throw out for more kit options as well. We will just see how the rest of April goes and May does. But I will be giving this set my all 110% and promise I will do everything I can to make it a reality.
Also, sorry no updates happened yesterday as planned. But I am working on posting some new updates today. So be on the lookout! ;)

For this set, I don't think so, maybe on some future sets if I ask for Mito's permission. But I think we are going to stick with the current kit options since this is a much smaller GB than Serika on Massdrop, etc.
This won't be the last set I design and I have some more ideas that I think and hope alot of people will enjoy in the future.

Mechboards.co.uk was picked because they have a good track record, and in my experience they're easy to work with and get the job done well. If I knew more about how moving items through the different parts of Europe worked then maybe I would have considered someone else, but only if I felt they would do as good of a job.
