I was attempting to use veracrypt to encrypt my disk. However, when creating a "rescuedisk" for my USB, it says "media device is write protected" - even when cmd says read-only is checked off.
Does anyone know solutions or alternative software, similar to veracrypt that is more trustworthy and open source, I can protect my PC with from theft?
