So what are exactly the differences between R1 and R2 besides the blue option?

But now the concern is price. Those are quite large novelty kits and look like they could push up on the $70 price range. Yikes!

Why have additional arrow kits been included in the novelties kit?

- Hiragana sublegends will stay as is for now.
- I had to choose a route, two base kits or just one with hiragana addons. One route could be more expensive for another.
- Latin alphas will remain in base kits because it seems to be more popular and because there are Drop kits available.
- Not adding more keys for unique layouts.
- Ortholinear support is not a goal based on interest.
- If I skipped question, it can probably be answered by checking the latest kits.

- I will update 'Menu' 1.25u to 'Fn' 1.25u in base kits.
- Novelties changes soon.

Need 2u spacebar back in for split space support to make it more complete, please!

Hello, my friend is looking to purchase the Blue Samurai set, but when we checked Drop, we only saw the Red Samurai set. Are they running at different times or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

The Red and Blue Samurai group buys haven't started yet.  The Red Samurai that is up right now contains sets specific to Drop's keyboards.  It will be open for three months.

The Red Samurai group buy related to this IC will probably start in the first week of June.

The answer is almost certainly no, because I'm pretty sure that Drop co-owns the Red Samurai IP now, or at least has exclusive distribution rights for it.

+1… 2u space is severely lacking now… I don't know who was surveyed but a ton of people will want that… not everyone has been buying the Drop ortho kits, many are waiting for this GB.

The new round 2 kits have not been posted on Drop yet. What you're seeing on drop right now is a separate ROUND 1 kit specifically for Drop keyboard layouts.

Or at least offer a latin alpha kit in each color and a mod kit.

There are 3 different listings on Drop - one for their ongoing red nishi offerings for TKL, 60%, and ortho that has been around for a while, one that is a second round of the red base set and various add ons, and the first round of blue. I purchased the TKL one recently and can verify that it goes for $100.

Because I ordered a set! Just go on drop and type in samurai.. You'll see the different options.

You can. On the first drop down list scroll down and there are options for space bar etc. It'll say e.g. Space bars - $70  and subtract the cost.

Edit: sorry my mistake.. I bought the novelties only.. There doesn't seem to be an option for just the spacebars..
