Acrylics, GS and XT.

Hi fellows. I’ve learnt so far, that in regards to acrylics, there is GS (cast) and XT (extruded). And generally XT is of worse quality and cheaper. However, from what I read in ISO 7823-1 and ISO 7823-2 the tolerance of thickness is grossly worse with GS. While, eg. a 4mm XT plate has a tolerance of 0.2mm, the same GS plate has 0.8, that’s almost a millimeter!
Does that mean, if I want to have relieable thickness, I better take XT?
GS sheets according to ISO 7823-1 have a thickness tolerance of
+/- (0,4 + 0,1 x sheet thickness)
XT sheets according to ISO 7823-2 have a thickness tolerance of
sheet
thickness < 3 mm +/- 10 %
sheet >/= 3 mm +/- 5 %
