Do metal cases for Ducky exist? Aluminum or SS?

I was thinking of trying to mod a filco/vortex aluminum case until I noticed the LED holes on the front.

Nope :(

but if you can get it made, let me know!

Nope :(

Pretty sure the custom metal cases you see are for TKL/60% only and even then it's only for a few boards, Ducky not being one of them.

Poker question. I'm using my left Win key as function, which works fine, but I can't switch L FN and ALT and I'd really like to (Alt changes and works, but FN doesn't work). Probably not a simple question, but my L CTRL Caps lock switch is also not working. Is it possible dip switches 2 & 3 could be broken? 1 & 4 currently work.

Did you unplug the Poker before changing the DIP switch setting?

Yes, I'm already aware of it being backwards. Thanks SmallFry :)

Did you unplug the Poker before changing the DIP switch setting?

Yes. I even tried unplugging for a minute lol.

So individually, 1 and 4 do what they're supposed to do, while 3 kinda works and 2 doesn't work at all.

3 - FN_L(Window L) , ALT_L Swap Position (per backwards manual) Alt changes, while L WIN/L FN does not. I've tried it with WIN and FN and neither work as the inside key.
I want my FN Keys on the inside :(

2 - Caps Lock , Ctrl L Swap Position (per backwards manual) no swapping at all. I could live without this one, but I was surprised when it didn't work.

Edit - Rebooted and now 2 is working! Will edit again in a minute :)

That sucks. I love mine with 1 and 3 on. That gives me FN keys to the left and right of the spacebar. It takes away one of my alts, but I don't use it that often anyways

Yes, I really wish I knew what was going on, I want 1 & 3!!!!
So 1,2, and 4 work, while 3 swaps Fn/Win with Alt and allows alt to work, but I get no Win or Fn. Win/Fn and Alt do work in their normal position with 3 off, so hmmm wonder what it could be.

Thanks everyone...

Edit - It's almost as if 4 (Win Lock) is traveling with 3 even though it's not.
Could they possibly be tied together on my Poker somehow, as in 3 does 3 & 4 and 4 does 4? My guess is no, but you people who solder would know more than me.

Who knows? I don't use the DIP switches, specifically because of these issues. This is one of two main reasons we created the GH60, so that you can program every key to what YOU want it to be. :P

I'm confused about keycap "profile"

If I get dyesub thick pbt's and vortex dye sub pbts will they be matching sets in terms of height and how they fit on my keyboard?

Im currently using a filco with regular caps.

They will match only if you buy the Vortex dye sub pbt from Feng's GB (white, blue, purple, light gray, rainbow, etc,.) Vortex black on black dye sub pbt is higher oem profile and thin unlike the other two sets you mentioned.

you own a female poker!
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

The "GMK/Cherry doubleshot modifer packs" Group Buy ... http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=41017.90

Seems like a lot of keys are included but many of them are variations on the same key.  Is that to accommodate all the different size of keys on various boards?

For example, I like the idea of CMYK modifiers but unless I am missing something (very possible) it is looks like you get 16 keys total but only 6 would be usable on a particular board (2 x Shift, 2 x CTRL, 2 x Alt) depending on the board's particular key spacing/layout.

CMYK (black on color keycap) modifiers pack - 16 key set - price: €25.00 / $33.00
    Shift – Yellow (4 keys):  1.25, 1.75, 2.25, 2.75 B profile
    Ctrl – Magenta (6 keys; 2x each):  1.0. 1.25, 1.5 B profile
    Alt – Cyan (3 keys; 1x each):  1.0, 1.25, 1.5  B profile
    Alt Gr – Cyan (3 keys; 1x each):  1.0, 1.25, 1.5  B profile

Yes, it accommodates more people which should lead to more orders.

Plus instead of have 3 different kits, you only have one. It makes the kit slightly more expensive, but then you don't need to hunt for those rare kits once you get a board with a unique layout (which you more than likely will, even if you don't think you will now)

Right, so one set fit all. You could use it on a Filco or similar with 1.25 in ANSI or ISO, older winkeyless, kit or stuff like iOne with 1.5 ANSI or ISO, or non standard like Choc mini that have both 1.5 and 1, and G80-1800 with 1 unit. I just piled it all into one set to streamline ordering. For some people it may be possible to fit more than one board with a single set depending on which keyboards.

No, not for everything. Then some things are even less likely to reach moq without the most common ones to give aid. I look at it like this. Some people may feel they don't need something, until they decide they want to buy some other board and suddenly may need other size key, or even if not that you will have some other keys for trading. Also if later on one decided that they aren't so into them you have triple the chance of a sale due to the flexibility of the sets.

It didn't really occur to me many people would want all blank ABS. The blank keys that are offered in the purple set was more out of necessity due to lack of wanted legends to add more compatibility than anything.

I will auction the samples if money need to be raised if there is order shortfall. Otherwise if not I will raffle them at the end of the buy and some lucky person will get them in their order. You may find it shocking I am not using them and only put them on a board once to take the photos  they are just sitting unloved in a little baggie.

The Graphite Set was made by one of the Korean communities, though I don't recall OTD or KBDMania. The legends were completely custom and nobody really liked them, so it wasn't produced for very many sets. The only two sets I've ever seen were CCnG (Korean) and the Graphite sets.

There's only two standards, not really that complicated.  Aftermarket springs are measured at the bottom, OEM are measured at activation.

Do cherry profile 1.75x R Shifts exist, and if so are they all ABS? I'm on the lookout if something like this exists, but have a feeling all of them have been made by SP.

Edit - An 1800 R Shift would work I think, but is this cherry profile?

I fixed it! The leaf spring on the Alt key was a little too far away/seperated to actuate, and I was mistaken about the Alt key working in it's normal position. Esoomenona, you should try looking at your G's leaf spring.
Thanks everyone, my 1 & 3 are now working perfectly :)

lol I thought I've seen it referred to as "leaf spring", but whatever. All I know is that the "rail" wasn't touching the "leaf" and I fixed it.
