Holy...
PCB with LEDs and silencers that work with a plate. Apart from a split spacebar you checked all the boxes on my wishlist. After 3 boards I thought: that's it, but now i think I see my dream ISO HHKB-ish-y keyboard on the horizon... (here)
Also: would be awesome if the next PCB of yours could handle split spacebars (one can dream)
Awesome.

Are there any plans to produce plate mount stabilizers in the future?

No, there are no plans to make Plate mounted stabilizers as of right now. Most "end game" / high end custom keyboards use PCB mount Cherry stabilizers only. The only issue at hand with PCB mount Cherry stabs were that they sometimes popped out, and screw in types would strip the plastic. My PCB stabilizer solves both issues present on PCB Cherry stabilizers.

Take my money! This will be my first 60% keyboard.

Any chance for a 1800 layout?  ;D

Nothing in the roadmap. If it does happen, would be next year. :P

Will these silencing clips shorten the keytravel? (hope they will, that's a big advantage of o-rings imo)

Barely, the rubber part is under 1mm thick.

What firmware?

TMK port for now. Will work on a fancier UI down the road.

QMK or something else? I'd be really hyped if QMK

Screw in stabs work with the standard holes for non-screw in so one can only presume so.

Does the PCB support a 1.25 L Shift + 1U as well?

What is the actual color of the PCB? My colorblind self just assumed it followed Zeal's purple color scheme.

White/Black PCBs are a bit overdone...So it'll be purple for the time being. Will consider other colours in future revisions.

Your assumption is correct, and it'll be produced in a dark-ish purple colour.

Will be GB'd along with R4 Zealios, Zeal60 RGB PCB, silencing clips, etc, sometime this month.

How about under glow support for this PCB?

The Zeal60 RGB PCB is already approaching maximum current allowed per USB 2.0 spec. 70+ RGB LEDs = 210+ "individual" LEDs being lit up on a 60%. Until USB 3.1/C matures/stabilizes a bit more, this is the most that can be done for now. There are USB breakout pins for the user to mod and attach RGB LED strips if they so desire...But that's not recommended unless you know what you're doing. :P

Woah, the new Zealencios sound pretty good.  :thumb:

Personally I have to say that I'm more of a fan of the unsilenced more than the silenced. I dunno, with linears I think a lot of the appeal for me is the bottoming out sound. I'd probably use them on something like Blues or Aristotles to highlight the clicky sound more than the bottom out sound.

Either way I'm sure I'll pick some up.  :p

I'm a little confused about how this actually works. So does this take away from the bottom out sound... or..? Cuz I'm thinking that this may be a good replacement for O-rings on my blue switch board.

I need those stabilisers. Got a CPSQ in the works and it is getting a little bit of an ultimate everything board. I missed I think a massdrop for clear/gold stabs and kind or regret it as now that parts are starting to arrive for the CPSQ and gold springs and gold sip sockets look a little out of place next to black and blank steel stab wire. I assume the screw in is compatible with regular PCB cutouts for cherry stabs, will it fir in the chunky CPSQ plate/frame?

Is there a way to know when these are up so I don't miss them?

EDIT:

These take down the return top click that the switches make when you let off them, so together with orings this should really help bring down the sound a bit.

My screw in style stabilizers fit in regular PCB mount stab holes.

The silencing clips reduce both bottom out and up stroke noise, without giving users the mushy feeling with o-rings.

62 keyboad looks good and it has the arrow that I wanted.
However, I am not a fan of the winkeyless style keyboard. I am heavy window user and Windows is one of the most key I use. Plus, I dont have to buy extra for another winkeyless keycap.

I would also like to know this.

I don't have any SA caps to test, but would imagine that it would only be partially silenced due to SA keycaps lacking the cross on the stem. Only the upstroke would be silenced.

No, however if you're not a heavy right_shift user, you could do something like this:

It had nothing to do with the cross, the Zealios housing were thicker than the Gaterons, so when the QMX-thingies were on the SA caps became stuck when depressed. Works fine on gateron blues.

Sounds like you didn't have the QMX clip on properly. Zealio/Gateron housings share the same footprint, and are a slightly wider base than Cherry.

Regardless, the Zealencio clips fit on Zealios, Gateron and Cherry switches without issue.

I can somewhat confirm this. Cherry POM/GMK caps feel "sticky" when QMX clips are used, possibly due to greater wobbling in Zealios. This does not happen with Gateron caps because they have narrower stems.
