Yes, they are always at work, although most of the time, the keyboards are kept locked under my table. The only time I use the keyboard is when I know I am desk bound for the day (teleconferences, internal meetings, etc) which is 50% of my mostly typical week.

that's cool. my group works in a shared space now (people throw footballs and other junk), and we've also had a few thefts, so i only bring beater keyboard stuff into work.

Ugh, workplace theft is the worst. It made you feel all insecure. We have some thefts a few months ago and I’m pretty nervous about it. I’m just hoping people don’t know the value of these plastics.

Just added non-shiny eyes. They feel out of place in this keyboard.

i love the old school colored eyes, more so than the new shiny ones.

and my boards never really match, except when i take photos. i throw on whatever clacks and other keys i feel like at the time.

Whew those are amazing "oldies"!

Love the shiny eyes, I have a few but I can't get enough of it. The effect is so captivating. It's also impressive how some of these seem so hard to find and get now. We still don't have an official name for the purple with green eyes, I was hoping cc would reply to nickheller on that... The mystery behind some colorways kills me sometimes.

Unconscious is probably one of my favorite skulls out there. Still hoping to get one of those one day. Also hoping for another Earth Day sale, coming up this year...

I feel you when you say it's doing the whole matching thing for photos and then it's whatever you feel like putting on there. Artisan keycaps are a form of expressing oneself

. I endorse it. Because of the nature of what I do, I can't even have keyboard stuff 'at work'. I carry around my HHKB in my bag for days I spend sitting down somewhere doing work on my laptop extensively though.

I'm loving this comeback vibe lately nonetheless!

There's definitely something satisfying and encouraging about building a bond with the folks here and living vicariously through others when you see them post on threads like these. I am feeling like I do share these kind of bonds, however strong, with people like you and others, as we share our life experiences while scrambling around for CC, CC's attention or CC's work!

Thanks for confirming. Is there an implication that there's sales outside of GH? EK sales are no more but just wondered about the phrasing.

if you go through cc's old posts, you'll find a few cryptic mentions of other sales. probably for secret gnome conventions or some other mysterious events that we'll never know about.

Haven't heard from GON or Kaliet in forever. Both of them had insane tuning. I definitely miss my Kaliet boards...wonder if Byker still has 'em. :thinking:
