hasn't been live for quite a week on all proxies. sold around 50 base kits in the first 2 days. Will give an official update soon

Quakemz from TopClack said he had spoken to someone at Kono about this set and how Nintendo is quick to throw out the C&D and it sounds like Kono had already worked with Nintendo to make sure everything was OK.

At 6 away from MOQ, they'd lose more money through refunds then just burying it out altogether. But I'm sure by the time the GB is closed they'll have enough. Last day surge is always quite high.

They don't lose money on refunds for failed GBs, at least Kono doesn't. According to their ToS the refund amount would be 4% less than you paid in order to cover fees.

Yes, good move. Lots of shade thrown at this set because of the pricing.

Ironically, novelties doubled MOQ despite all the concern that it was priced too high.

Every Zelda fan had to jump on the novelties.

I would expect it soon. Sets like Moon Dust, Taro and Botanical ran similar times are are shipping to vendors so assuming there wasn't a disaster in colour matching then it should be quite close to shipping to vendors.

Edit: Never thought to check Discord until after I posted for some reason. R2 samples were approved in September. Thats the latest I can see.

The communication for this one has always been a bit up and down. The IC had a publicised start date and then it missed with no notification, then it started and wasn’t really promoted etc.

It’s actually one of the reasons I went deskmat only. Still really looking forward to the deskmat delivery!

BTW, does anyone have any recommendations for artisans that will go well with this set (aside from the Keypora collab)? I was just gonna make some gold coloured resin keycaps for myself to match :3 (since I missed out on the novelties kit ;-; but if anyone has a kit they are willing to part with, please let me know!)
