GB is live on Cannon Keys! Woohoo!
Couple of questions since I know it will probably be a few days before a GB thread pops up.
Why is the deskmat shipping so expensive? (Nearly the same cost of the deskmat itself)
Why do I have to order the deskmat separately from the keycaps? Is this just a Cannon Keys thing?
Shipping is probably due to weight and awkward shape. Though it does differ from site to site.
As for separate mats, that's always the case for GBs. Because they are ordered separately, come in separately, and are delivered separately. Makes tracking and inventory so much easier. And means they don't have to store mats while waiting for keycaps which usually take longer.
