I dig your watermark jdcarpe

Thank you! I finally decided to make a real watermark, instead of the little graphic I had before.

Got a Poker with Reds today (Thanks TheQsanity!) At first I was planning on turning the reds into ergo clears, but after feeling the reds I'm not so sure I will.

OH man, I own a Pure, and have thought up until now, I have no need for a poker, but now I feel like I should pick one up since they wont be produced any more, and I love 60% layout.
Any thoughts on if i should buy this one or just wait until the new one?

Classifieds had a few available over the last couple weeks.  The good thing, too, though - is they're PCB mount until modding.  So, you could always change the stem/springs if you bought one with MX Blacks, easily.

They look fun! But I don't have the patients to solder and desolder all those switches. Usually I love to do stuff like that.

Glad you like it! I already had a thread on DT about it, now I also created one here: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=40341.0

I'm planning on building a couple more and try to improve on the first version (will post pictures). Especially the front and back edge are not as nice as I want them to be.

Just curious, for all you guys that have plates on your pokers, how are you using the stock spacebar wire? The slight bend in the middle hits the plate or PCB (depending on which way you mount it. I had to make my own straight spacebar wires for all the 60% I build.

I haven't had that issue with any of the 3 pokers that I have added plates to. I have used the stock spacebar wire and it doesn't touch the PCB or the plate.

I replace it with a paperclip. Works just fine.

A paperclip works for a stabilizer? That seems almost too flimsy, IMO.

Think about Costar. I'd guess that they are similar in dia.

I had the same problem. I just swapped my race stabilizer with the poker one because it's straight.

I'm using one of those wrapped in colorful plastic (or rubber?). It's definitely not has hard as the original but does it really need to be? As far as I can tell: nope. If it ever fails I will let you know ;)

Got a Cherry Blue (might change to black stems later) + Beast Plate + Stickered + Lubed + 62g Springs.
I must admit that using a keyboard with a plate is infinitely better than not.

They are 3mm LEDs with no "lip" on the bottom. I don't have a good supplier for those, but I have used regular T-1 3mm LEDs with success. I don't have the specs for the voltage/current on the stock blue LEDs, but I find it doesn't matter much with the LEDs I have tried.
