Is this set going to be round 2 for JTK?
I am on the fence about getting the white/purple set as I actually have funds that I set aside for it, but if this is going to be round 2, I might have to hold off.

Bunny said he's going to push for this to be the fourth set.

I know it has been awhile, but with Bunny announcing the JTK Sophmore GB (which would be the second and third sets), I was if this was still going to be pushed for next.

From what I remember, it sounded like it would be around set 5-7.   Hopefully I hear from him or he chimes in.

its on my list to push for after the current sets, which have been locked in since round 1, i have been pretty clear this second round was planned since the start, but we would be looking in to more adventurous schemes after this, we needed these initial buys to get on our feet, and work out the kinks

Hey guy SP has your back http://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-rainbow-keycap-set/

That looks awful.  Manly Unicorn is far more tasteful and classy.

I do plan on making some more little tweaks to it and think I may just pay for a render of it, even though it's hard for me to shell out $50 to do so.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Hey guy SP has your back http://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-rainbow-keycap-set/

That looks awful.  Manly Unicorn is far more tasteful and classy.

I do plan on making some more little tweaks to it and think I may just pay for a render of it, even though it's hard for me to shell out $50 to do so.

I can chip in a bit for a render.
I'm in for $5. No joke.
I'll toss in a fiver, if that helps it make MOQ.

Yeah Definitely would throw a few bucks in for a render if its speeds this up
That's $20 (assuming Hoff is on for $5). This baby's going places!

I'd toss in ten for this.  :D
OK. Ten for me, too. What the heck.

$30
Put me at 10 too.
$40!!!
Well between us 3 that's $30. Depending on what birdi wants to do though.
Sorry, I didn't pay attention to names and counted you twice.

I don't think so. nubbinator said he's working with BunnyLake to have this made by JTK, but that's 5-7 sets away. This rendering is just about building hype and getting a glimpse at what the real deal will look like.

So out of boredom I redid this layout on keyboard-layout-editor.com so that I could play around with different layouts. I figured I'd share the link in case anyone else wants to play around:

As I've said before, if you want Handerbeit, that's all fine and good, but this is not the thread for it.  If you want to talk about it, start another IC.

At this point any discussion about it is threadcrapping.

Welcome to Geekhack

A good choice you're making here :)
