Climate Scientists: We're running out of fresh water, there's gonna be Water-Wars.

-The rest of us, while eating burgers: But why, who's drinking all that water??

Doctors: Never mind that, I need your diabetus money to pay for my german car that I never get to drive because I'm so busy managing your diabetus.

Mcdonalds: My customers are morons, if I sell them something else, they will rebel and go to Burger King.

Keyboards / Re: How hard do you all type?
« Last post by applehugger on Tue, 14 May 2024, 07:17:50 »
I like tactile or clicky switches that are on the medium-heavy side (e.g., 55g Topre, Salmon Alps), and compared to some keyboard enthusiasts I see on YouTube, I feel like I type kind or hard.

However, my coworkers who largely use $10 rubber dome over membrane keyboards generally type much harder. I think using keyboards for so long that allow actuation partway through the keystroke has lightened my typing style. People who are used to cheap rubber domes have no choice but to bottom out, and therefore unconsciously absolutely mash every key to prevent missed keystrokes. Sometimes when I have to type on someone else's keyboard, I find that I occasionally don't press hard enough for a key to register.

please xbox backspace PLEASEEEEE
You know what, I second this! A 1.5u R2 Xbox backspace key would have me grabbing a kit just for that!

add a separate full kit of icon mods while you are at it. ;D

both beige and dolch icon mod kits are super hard and expensive to acquire. for beige it is 9009 R1 (2016) and for dolch it is Dolch R1 (2014) and Burgundy R1 (2017) that last had icon mods (with xbox backspace)

imo icon mods are also part of OG history. so would definitely fit the theme of this set!

Ok, I found the issue:
The guide above is wrong: Wire 2 and Wire 3 need to be each one pin above!

Here is how you connect the keyboard to the Teensy:

Keyboard Keycaps / Recommend a Keycap Set
« Last post by bagger on Tue, 14 May 2024, 03:40:20 »
Hello! I’ve recently gotten into the Hobby and I’ve bought some aftermarket keyboards that don’t have keycaps. I have little eye for aesthetics so I’m more than happy to look at any type of keycaps, no preferences. So I’d love to get y’all’s recommendations! Suggest me a keycap set! (Links would be nice but if not /shrug).

I discovered something:
When I press M it outputs "nm". But when I hold the M key, it only outputs "m".
So the "n" comes in on the upstroke it seems. Same with other keys.
