I suggested R3 1u Code, but Tom said that he's unlikely to change the current 40s kit further. It'd be nice to have, though.

For me yes but I've seen 2 1u controls in other base kits but i wouldn't know what for.

They are only useful on ortho boards, yep. No modern ≥60% board uses two 1u Ctrls, which is why recent base kits have been dropping the second one.

There is no pipe in Cyrillics. Its a slash and backslash.

Icon mods are still available but the kit covers only classic Cherry icon mods.

Like everyone else, liking both the contents and the clever names of the Skydata and Cherry Picker kits! I've been enjoying the all-dark version of my SA Yuri set (Dual Cosmos) that arrived recently, and this would be a nice mirror to it.

I got the suggestion to offer metal keycaps before but i am not a fan of metal keycaps at all (not disrespecting Rama or Salvun at this point). I just don't like metal keycaps.

Perhaps you've received enough requests for this key at this point to reconsider including it? Аccording to usage data gathered from ortho users in this survey, all of the following R3 1u mods are more popular than R3 1u Tab: '", Ctrl, Shift, Caps; yet Tab is the only one that's included in the kit (besides Esc and Enter). It seems that including a Code key would be beneficial for everyone, both ortho users and yourself.

If you are adamant about not wanting to increase the size of the Forties kit further, then you could replace R3 1u Tab with Code. Again, Tab doesn't seem to be a very popular key in that position, and Code could cover for it as well.

On a somewhat related note, you may want to consider including a mod-colored R3 1u '" key in the Forties kit. This would be beneficial for achieving a consistent look for ortho users — perhaps more so than the accent/non-accent options currently present in the kit.

Right now i don't have a deskmat design for Yuri which is worth the production/realization.

As Alternative a community member Outragedpudding made a fantastic design for space cadet keyset and those deskmats were also offered in Yuri colors. Unfortunately they are not selling anymore and the only way to get those is mechmarket.  I hope they'll get a rerun in the future.

Thanks for the info! That's a pretty understandable reason, I suppose.

I don't know if this kind of feedback is annoying or if it's helpful for your decision making at this point, but I'm interested in the icon mods because I want to pair them with the cyrillic alphas. I don't want to mix the cyrillics with english so I'm disappointed to hear I'd have to do that for the bottom row.

None of constructive feedback is annoying. You pointed out the reason (why you would love to see icon bottom row included) and i absolutely understand that point and i wish i could offer you that. Tho i guarantee you that the current icon mods will already be pricey. And i am very concerned about pricing and i have to compromise at this point - unfortunately.

Alternatively i think you probably have a good chance to get the icon mods kit from round1 at Mechmarket.

Need more 1.25u in novelties like the Kat kits. Many people have 6 1.25u on R1. I want 10 for a Redox so I'd buy 2 because this set is gorgeous.

I wonder if I could resell a few kits minus the pieces I need. Can't think of another way to make this happen.

A suggestion: An R3 1.75u backspace key, perhaps in the Xtra pack.

That way, colemak users can just use cyrillics for the alphanumerics, but still have the colemak backspace key with a correct legend.
