noobas4urus.... i generally don't like LED designs but i am very jealous of that.
Here is a weird one. For the first time since Athlon XP and Radeon 9800 Pro were cool, I bought a prebuilt computer. Sold the G4400/Z170M build I put together in November for a HP Z420 Workstation, loaded up, and then I tossed in a SSD, extra 16GB to bring it to 32GB ECC RAM (this is cool to have finally), 90% efficient Delta Electronics 600W PSU, s*** tons of PCIe slots, rear power button next to the PS/2 ports, genius airflow and a simply killer case. I think this is the first time in my life I bought a prebuilt because I loved the case and not for an Apple to rip apart and use for the case. It also came with a Quadro K2000, swapped that out with a brand new 1050 sc, as all I need are dual 1440p support and I do play CS:GO but nothing else. 1050 sc is more than enough for that. For good measure, I also added my Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD as well.
It will probably get a cpu upgrade eventually but it is comparable in performance to my best current gen i7 rig. That i7 will get sold shortly to make money for a Ryzen build as this machine I am fully in love with.
Potato pics, I have no real camera:
edit : please accept my apologies, not fully cleaned the case yet...
Normally i find the innards of factory built pcs to be very suboptimal and uninspiring. But, from the motherboard to the cooling system, it reminds me of the days of G4 and G5. I do love this machine. It is nearly silent even with the bios minimum fan speed set from 10 to 50%. For only having one rear and one CPU fan i was so surprised to see it never break 100f under max load. Guess i don't have to redo paste yet. There are truly no compromises... None.
