Will the PCB be compatible to other cases, or are the battery life indicators going to be in the way?
If it's compatible with the usual GH-60 style cases I would be interested in buying the PCB seperately.

Unfortunately I don't think we will sell the PCB Separately.

Would've loved it if we can have two 2.75u split space bars in the layout rather than 2u. Not a huge fan of having a key between the space bars like the standard layout on most split layouts that are out now. Also +1 on underglow, just like in switch lighting you can leave it up to user's discretion to turn it on or off to conserve battery. Looking forward to see how this develop and would 100% support if we can implement any of the aforementioned.

Having 2.75u split space will still put a 1.5u key in the middle. https://i.imgur.com/wiO3Z1U.png. I think we will be having some sort of underglow

OOO very much yes to this! I have a love hate relationship with BT mechanical keyboards. I love my VA87M, but want a 60%. I have an Anne Pro, but the layout could be better and I hate the fact that it falls asleep and takes 1-2 seconds of delay to turn on. Not to mention no support for aluminum cases.

Aluminum cases work well with BT keyboards, assuming you aren't too far from the USB dongle.

Have you thought about trying to run an exclusive keyset (GMK) with the keyboard? I know the EXTENT group buy got a dark grey on black GMK set that looks sick, would be cool to have something similar? Especially, for those that want to use a different layout than standard.

This first run will not have a custom keyset, but that is something to look into if we run it again.

Forgot as well. It does look really good. I kinda wish it was lower incline. 8 is on the steep side for me. Took me a few years to figure that out. But man, it looks so nice I could probably deal with it.

Eve's ano and finishing on the pink and lilac board is growing on me lol. Liked the simple curves and pastel feel.

Wow looks very nice! Standard MX hhkb with split spacebar is definitely a dream layout. Any estimate on the GB launch? So many boards atm, have to decide which one to commit to

This is coming closer to reality. Have spoken to Eve and got these pictures from his team and friends <3.
These are not renders but actual prototype pictures. Colours are definitely not final, but this lilac definitely goes well with GMK Taro :3

Consider adding support for a 1–1.25 split LShift to the PCB. MX HHKB layouts like this are pretty cool. The plate cutouts are already there because of the 1.25–1 split option, so there's no downside to doing this.

Got the prototypes, will be looking to get more suggestions how to improve it before final changes.

Edit: don't mind the weird spacing on the photos, the keycaps have been mounted on switches without a pcb.

I realised I placed the keys in the wrong layout, since im very new to hhkb.
I am not the runner, so fret not. The pictures will give you guys a good idea how the board will turn out in the end.

I find the caps sit a little high on the board; IMO, it would look even better if we couldn't see the bottom edges of the caps

The boards look good. I wish the keys sat ever so slightly lower, just enough for the bottoms of Cherry profile caps to not be visible.

first prototype built, feat EPBT Slate and an also newly-built HBCP.

there are a few small changes to make to the case. pretty much all revolving around the USB Type C cutout.

I didn't build my PCB with the bluetooth stuff, but I will be building the others with it. Haruka will be working on sorting that part of the firmware out for us.
