Big Ferrari fan, and I just love how it looks ^^

Ah ah, offtopic but I can't resist, here's the toy I bought one year ago or so (it was basically the only "affordable" V8 two-seater Ferrari)... Since then the price skyrocketted so I'm glad I pulled the trigger and so far no issue. Handling is not that great, it's not that powerful at all (only 300 bhp), kinda heavy and it's already 25 years old.  But it's IMHO one of the most beautiful car ever created (and it doesn't look anything like these modern supercars without any soul, which basically all look the same due to aerodynamics). I also don't understand why they don't make cars with retractable headlights anymore: it just looks soooooo much better that way...

(Attachment Link)

Lovely :D I love the look of the older Ferrari models, usually better than the newer supercars.
And I totally agree with you on the headlights, that does look much much better. But I guess that's part of the charm of the older models...

Been looking for a Bull Head for a while. Where did you find that? It looks like its in awesome condition.

Found it at the local market, it only cost me 150$ all original parts, I was amazed!

This watch at this condition would go at least 500$ on eBay, been looking for a black one

Me and my gf are thinking of buying each other watches for Christmas. Just something cheap-ish as we have the new house to think about, but I'm really loving the look of the Skagens at the moment, and she's drawn to Daniel Wellington as her first watch, so I think it's gonna be a good gift exchange :)

The 355 is a better car: better handling, more powerful, more beautiful sound... But the 348 is quite cheaper, a bit less expensive to maintain and more reliable than the F355 :)

Sports cars and fine watches are very similar. Things that men don't need, but we sure lust over them.

To me, that looks like a Marantz or a MCS series receiver.  (Just a guess...)

I'm not a watch guy because I don't have any watches.  But with that in mind, I think I know what would get me going. :)

What are watches that are inspired by the dials, gauges, and materials from cars?  Pics and links would be great!

I have a well made chunk of metal for more formal occasions. I like my Apple Watch for daily stuff since it tracks my activity in addition to being a good substitute for my phone.

Yep!  The daily use of the electronic ones is quite nice--especially the ability to change the face to match whatever occasion.

Took this earlier this week. Find this watch incredibly attractive, whether you consider the price point or not. I hope to get the white/blue version over the Holidays. The dark one piece Lake House Leather strap really sets it off too.

What model is this?
Looks like an apple watch.

Thanks.

Does anyone have experience with the super cheap smart watches? Example: http://www.amazon.com/Smart-watch-Sweatproof-bluetooth-connection-SmartPhones/dp/B015MHLKWM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1447704878&sr=8-3&keywords=smartwatch

I'm interested in trying one of these out - for such a low price I wouldn't expect much, but as long as it shows your texts and incoming calls (and the time), I feel like it's worth a shot for $45. Thoughts?

I REALLY like Skagens, I've been thinking about getting one for my next watch.

My dad broke it to me and my brother this weekend, his dad gives him £1500 every April which he sometimes spends on a new watch. He's decided to split that between me and my brother next year, so we both get £750 to spend on a watch :3 I have no idea what I'm going to get, don't know if I should save up and try and get like £2k together and buy a Tag Heur Monaco...

So my first question would have been if you didn't spend the full 750, do you still get to keep the remainder for keyboards?  ;D

Bought it of eBay for 160 euros a few years ago. I just can't stand wrist watches. As much as I love them, my wrist is thin with a slightly protruding  articulation bone ... wearing a wrist watch is just a nightmare and is not comfy for me.

I also like mechanical watches, the tic-toc, all those small gears living their own lives. Stories ? I wish old watches could talk (just like old house).
