Whiskey 40% // WKL Bluetooth

Welcome to my latest creation: A 40% WKL Bluetooth Keyboard!





Inspiration

This board is inspired by my love for 40% Keyboard, My cat (Whiskey) and my hatred for wires.



Stats

Top Mount
5.5° Typing angle
25.5mm Front Height using the EKH Tool
Colors are Rose Gold & TBD
Plate Materials TBD
Bluetooth using ZMK
The cat is named after the alcohol | The board is named after the cat
Universal Daughterboard
1.7 Kilograms fully built
>450 USD | Price depends on Material costs at time of GB.

Designed by Aeternus
Bluetooth wireless compatible
3x RGB lights between Esc-Q-W-E (Minivan style)
The cutout is to accommodate the flex so that the PCB doesn't touch the battery
Also uses a Universal Daughterboard

Vendor & GB Date


GB Date is yet to be decided. It will be a normal GB with enough for anyone who wants one!



Where I'm at and what will happen

- Another proto will be ordered, this one has some small issues
- If the second proto is good, GB Date will be set. The rest all works.

This is cool. Cats are cool. Any chance for a bottom row with all 1.5u mods? (3u and 2.25u or smth for space)

Thanks. Sadly no. Layout is final. I didn't want to have a cheese pcb. If you like cheese, Check out my other project: Swiss :P

Not a huge fan of the price, but I love everything else a lot (I know there's not much you can do about it sadly). Definitely considering buying one, especially since you combined my two favorite things: 40% and WKL.
