Double register issue
« on: Fri, 26 February 2016, 19:37:29 »
My 2014 blackwidow TE with kaihl greens is having an issue where the F, W, and N key sometimes register twice. Would pressing each switch and dropping a drop of 90% isopropyl alcohol have any affect? I've read online that it can be used to clean switches that do this. But above all is it safe for the keyboard?

do not bother with the alcohol

Just keep hitting those keys 1000 times each..

If that does not improve it. you can either RMA,  or attempt to desolder and replace the switch yourself.

If you choose to desolder,  Geekhack can help you with that, as pretty much everyone of us old guyz have done it..

We can walk you through it on skype for example. real simple stuff.

Soldering is like hot glue, for adults.
