Q&A
Why the name Tilde? Friend suggested it because of how the sides looks like a tilde during the early phases of designing, thought it was pretty accurate so here we are
PC? - I will not be running full PC cases due to the high rate of failure. However i'm considering including/making PC bottom a possibility if there is enough interest in it
Nylon tabs? - These are 3d printed tabs for the gaskets to sit on for the bottom case so that the board can be easily swapped between gasket and top mounting. Which also means, there will be a gasket paste on the top case for both gasket/top mount configs. Additional gaskets will be provided in the case that you decide you do not want them
Two plate designs? Plastic plates will be the ones without the relief cuts on the mounting tabs to prevent over flexing on materials like PP and PC
Plate files? - Will be released once GB ends
Foam? - Purely added for experimental sakes here, the PC sound test is without case foam while the alu sound test was with the case foam. Will be included with the gb so people can choose to opt out or not.
PVD? - PVD for the weight will be matte, something more in line with other keyboards like jubi, jag in black pc etc. Will not be glossy to prevent easy scratches etc. Though this will be a fingerprint magnet unfortunately.
Proto scuff? - Manufacturer for the group buy will be one previously used in extremely high end and popular boards before, undisclosable for obvious reasons.
