I generally get out of bed after the second or third ring. When going to work I would not need an alarm snooze, because of waking up automatically more or less at the same time. But when I am drunken, or was drunken the day before, I need a long time to get up, or don't even wake up when the alarm rings for minutes.

before i used to hit snooze like 3 or 4 times, but then i figured i could use that time for more actual sleep.  so now my alarm is set for a bit later, and i get up after the second alarm.
