God damn it,   2x power efficiency? 6-6.5ghz (on mobile), 7ghz+ on desktop,  INSANE.

Now that we have detail on Zen7,  HOW IS TP4 supposed to buy a laptop until 2027-2028..  :-X

ALSO, Tp4 guessing Zen 6 is NOT delayed,  They're only saying that so you'll buy up today's 9800x3ds.

Hrrrm.. Steam machine.

1 Gigabit Ethernet. DisplayPort 1.4. HDMI 2.0. One USB-C and four USB-A ports.

Dp 1.4,  so it's going to use DSC to get to the claimed 4K240hz.  That's okkkk buhh, hrrrm.. Wish they'd gone and just gave us a full 80Gbps port. There's no reason RDNA3 can't do it.

It's around a 4060 performance lvl though (according to reviewers).  Guess that's enough if the games are highly optimized for it.  They should've done put in something like the 8060s for smaller form factor, or a 7900xtx for durability.

It's probably not as fast as a 4060 though, It's going to be slower than the 8060s which has +12 CU.

Those are fine, the real issue is the 512gb SSD and 8gb ram on the base model. That model only exists to pique peoples interests, don't buy that one.

It's a little light yea.

24GB + 7900gre even, would displace ps5.

As far as we know, PS5 is around a 7900xtx + 5090lvl ray tracing performance. RUMORS.

But still. You can't compete with that unless you got some waff.

With steam's buying power, Don't see why they couldn't do an 8060s at $600.
