There's pretty much no way you can spin that the "dude" himself was a leftist. So this is probably the inner circle ordered by the top in attempt to start a violent civil war, or at least a distraction from, you know wha.
And they picked a dumb kid to do it, standard procedure.
And of course they bungle it. Because they're not an exactly competent bunch.
If they hired professional CIA to do this, (darkweb revealed textbook) CIA would just burned down that kid's house with his family inside so there are no loose ends. There are no human beings in geopolitics, only chess pieces.

The dumb kid was supposed to miss, bungling the "original intent", leave the rifle to be discovered with pro-trans engraving.

It doesn't make alot of sense to use that kind of rifle, and it's pretty hard to ensure hitting the target with the few bullets that he had, because that was never the intent. The intent was to miss, kr1k gets to pull a bloody ear moment, and spin the base.
So, now, they want to bury what really happened, and D vm.p himself wants a "quick trial." you're guilty, end story. See where this is going?
