How is the red color option, the entire thing or just the bottom?

if there's only 1 color listed in the option, it's the whole board

Screw-in stabilisers are included

(hopefully they don't bridge anything lmao)

Does the angle and dimensions match the numpad listed here? https://kbdfans.cn/products/kbdfans-pad-custom-mechanical-keyboard-diy-kit?variant=2533925158925

Would be interested in a set if they lined up perfectly (and there was a matching grey color option).

I don't mind mini-usb :)

I would prefer mini as well since it's more accessible and wouldn't require me to go out and buy new cables.

I wrote to them to ask why my tracking number wasn't working, and I got the following reply:

Quote
A bad news, unfortunately, the PCB factory data appear problem, PCB can work, but the location of the stabilizer error, deviation of 1 mm, so we decided to scrap the PCB urgently, to produce a batch of PCB, so shipment will extend at least one week, I'm very sorry!

So, not quite ready yet, unfortunately. But hopefully they get it redone quickly and sent out soon. I'm glad they're testing it out fully before shipping. I'd hate to have that problem discovered after the board arrived.

Indeed, someone has received the shipment with the defective PCB. This person appears to be the one who reported the issue back to Wei. Though, the case looks great and is hefty at 5.1 lbs! The Redditor mentioned that the shipment didn't include any LEDs for indicators. So I asked Wei whether he can include a few LEDs in three different colors, perhaps, red, blue and green, because I would be forced to purchase 50, 70 or even 100 of each color of LEDs otherwise. He said he will include a few LEDs in each shipment. Not sure which color will be shipped however. He clarified that 3 V, 1.8 mm or 3 mm LEDs will work. Also, he's still waiting on the re-manufactured PCBs and is hoping everything will be shipped within a week.

I got a shipping notification from DHL, but I wasn't sure what it was for (I've ordered a couple things from China that it could conceivably be, but was hoping for this one, of course).

My shipping says it's arriving Friday (in the US) by end of day. That, I find hard to believe, as it's still in China on Wednesday. But who knows. In any case, excited to get my hands on it!

Mine arrived yesterday (in Australia, shipped on Sunday).

Got a black base and dark grey top WKL variant. Anodizing on it is super nice.

Came with two plates, a black aluminium one and a steel one.

No LEDs in my shipment unfortunately.

1.8mm LEDs should be super easy to source locally for pretty cheap, they're very common

but also i'm sure kbdfans would be able to ship you some if you really need

The fixed models have started shipping out some days ago, surefire way to check is to just mount all ANSI stabs

Just built my KBDFans KBD8X with some German Dyesubs and 60g Skidata MX Clears. The right Shift and Fn are from Enjoy PBT and unfortunately don't exactly match the Cherry dyesubs. Does anybody know a good source for keys that match the original better?
