Not soldered yet, but it's getting there :)

Picked mine up from customs today.... the plate cutouts are quite a bit too large and the switches just fall out when I turn over the plate, did anyone else notice that?

What switches and which plate? Those vbs up there sit nice and tight inside the cutouts.

Brass plate, I tried every switch I had, new Cherry, vintage Cherry, Panda, Gateron with black bottom and and Zealios.

Quick and dirty video, the ones that were still in afterwards would fall out when you just touched them:

Measuring the cutouts told me that they are 0.4mm larger than the ones on the TX-87 :(

that is quite odd, mine seem to be perfect :/  I did notice the two numpad ones were a bit loose and would fall out.

I contacted Kin and I'll get a replacement. He'll check plates before shipping now so it doesn't happen again.
If the ones in transit now are fine I should be the only one who was affected by this. If you got a kit you want to build it later I'd suggest you check it for fitment now.

I am so sorry.

I have assembled more than 10 txcp with this brass plate.
But I did not see before.

Now. I checked all extra 14 sheets of txcp brass plates.
But all are good.

Don't worry about this problems.

Ugh, I would have to get one. No doubt about it. I told kin he better not do another TX75 run because I will need one. But I guess he doesn't have any more PCBs and said he couldn't do another run as a result.

Edit: Looks like it's gonna be resolved shortly. Apologize for the mistake and kudos to the honest member.

The GB is going to be concluded soon and we can move on to fulfilling TX1800.

Cheers!

That looks just like a generic Google "Material" Wallpaper.

Tons of similar ones if you just google "android material desktop wallpaper"

Unfortunately not in 1440p, the app I used to generate it will only make 2160x1920 wallpapers for me because my phone has a 1080x1920 screen. If you've got a 1440p Android phone, you can make a similar one yourself, the app's name is Tapet and I got the colour codes from keyboard-layout-editor.
