Lunar grey looks incredible. The shot with the keycaps looks like an amazing pairing.

UPDATE :)

I got some MIRA prototype case tops today from ninjadoc for photographing purposes (since my potato is a bit better :)

Here's a color-calibrated photo album that shows Night Sky Blue (medium blue-gray with purple tinge) and Lunar Gray (medium-dark gray with a tint of military green):
http://imgur.com/a/Ni2h1

Remember that these are for color reference only.  Anodized aluminum is subject to glare, especially indoors, and so brightness level varies depending on angle, etc.  The blue is actually a medium blue (not a light blue, nor dark blue).

The first set of photographs is taken next to a window with very overcast (snowing heavily now) light.  The second set is taken under "full spectrum" CFL bulbs.  I've also included some common GMK keycap colors at the end next to the tops, for reference.  The last two photos show original Cherry classic beige doubleshots next to both top colors.

The blue is more shimmery and reflective.  The gray is more matte.  The surface texture is quite smooth for both, fine grain.

. . .

Shipping invoices will hopefully start going out soon--I hope within a week.

This is crazy helpful!!!   Should be standard MO for custom keyboard group buys   ;D ;D :thumb: :thumb:

This looks great; sad I missed it. If anyone has a change of heart with a WKL version I'll be more than willing to take it off your hands :) Let me know and we can get the process rolling with ninajdoc :)

Anyone has high definition photo of the earth? I only found CGI shots!

Search "blue marble" on Google and you'll find plenty.

Here are two really good ones, IMO:

They must have used a fisheye lens to take those. The Earth looks like it's round in those photos.

The second one looks circular to me, but the first looks a little flattened at the poles as they really are.

Technically, you would not see the asymmetry between the pole-to-pole diameter and around-the-equator diameter like that.  The difference is very small in Earth's case:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equatorial_bulge

It would be more noticeable for Saturn.

So you are saying that you would be noticing a 0.33% asymmetry?.. ;)  Confirmed, you have cyborg eyes.

He meant the compatibility with an alternative PCB: A.87 which is from winkeyless.kr -- not the winkeyless layout.  The 84/86-key layout with 7x spacebar and 1.5x modifiers is still supported with the TX87 PCB that's included in this group buy.  Ninja hoped to make the case compatible with more PCB types for those who were interested in that.

Ninja's computer's having trouble again :(  I was hoping he'd post an update himself.  From what I know, everything should be in order now in terms of various kinks being ironed out in the design.  I don't know if the delay in production so far will result in a delivery delay compared to the estimated dates given originally--hopefully not.  As ninja had posted, supposedly the factory is pretty quick with the production.

They were sorting out prototype design issues--as ninja had posted, there were attempts to make it compatible with more PCBs, which involved some internal changes and such.  Hence the delay.  But again, it doesn't mean there will be a delay in the final delivery time compared to the estimate (which was up to the end of June for delivery).

not sure if youd be able to answer Photo but since this is dropping mid-end june will we be getting the R6 zeal stabs with it that are dropping then? Wondering if I should go in for the R6 GB.

The case bezel will be slightly wider on the outer edges than on this prototype, but the curves will be basically like this, with the outer edge being smoothly rounded:

Hopefully those photos answer your question?

(Also, the logo will be modified from the above prototype to separate the double-star symbol from the name a bit and change the size of the circles, so it looks less like O'MIRA).
