Just got my Olivia++ light kit today in NA. Lots of people making a big deal out of the space bar issue but can confirm that, at least for my set with the space bar kit, there is very little to no warping.

Same got the dark kit and spacebar is fine, super happy with how the set looks.

I dont't get why group buys always choose zfrontier as a vendor. They never respond to messages nor they package their mails properly. My gmk set came in pieces.

are there any other "reputable" vendors in china? be reputable i mean vendors who have actually delivered some GMK GBs.

This was their answer from Sept. 3.

They are shipping right now, one of member from our local MK Discord already got notified by DHL to pay taxes.

i see we're still arguing over space bars, definition of "out of specs" and the rest.

here is a picture of a space bar from a brand new mizu kit i opened today:

looks like all the other GMK space bars i've ever had. definitely not a new "issue". the space bars isn't very stiff and once your mount it, it more or less straightens out. i haven't run into the skinny ? issue but i did have a scuffed shift key once, the shift icon wasn't straight. the whole set was exchanged and then i was fine.

I have received my set from zf, today. They wrapped the keycaps with some pieces of box, but I see no damage to the original box.

no one was starting the argument again haha just wanted to confirm the warping is minimal and is completely fine, as I saw a lot of people arguing and flaming mike about gmk warping in previous posts.

I just got mine today. These keycaps are beautiful! The colors are exactly how I expected them to be in person. Also my space bars lie perfectly flat. Thank you for running this!

But wow, this is bad. Really bad. I would be upset if I purchased a kit, and I am amazed at the amount of people who continue to make excuses for this consistent level of poor quality from GMK.

The 2, 3 and 4 keys all look fine to me. What part of them is problematic?

As said above, the spacebars should be installed first. My spacebar from my OG HF set appears warped due to flashing and molding, but the posts sit straight and even so the stabs don't bind or make any funny sounds. If they are warped enough to affect the stabilizer, a little warm water or a hair dryer and some weights will straighten them right out.

Also, if you're not happy with the set, I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

Hmm, I don't see any single valid reason why we should choose GMK over JTK sets anymore?

1. Cheaper - check
2. No bent spacebar - check
3. No ****ty tray - check
4. Less than 1 year production time - check
5. No severe color mismatch - check

I assume JTK still has inconsistent legends but that's not different than GMK is it?

JTK legends are not close to as nice as GMK. IMO, they are big, clunky, and have inconsistencies to them; more so than GMK.

In other news, zero warping on any keys in my basekit or spacebars.. Not that it really matters as I have had numerous kits in the past years with these issues and have never affected usability or typing experience.

The legends are blobby and uneven. It's subtle but noticeable on several keys (these two are the worst) and I have this issue on both the Light and Dark sets. Here's GMK 8008 (Top) and Olivia Light (Bottom) for comparison:

Of course it's fine, but it's a shame because you're used to having crisp legends from GMK and this makes the set looks less polished.
