And, they seldom drink water (or any other liquid) which I also can't understand.
In Georgia? I will never understand it either.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

And, they seldom drink water
I will never understand it either.

I can drink a liter of water in 20 seconds in one swallow, even if I am not thirsty.

In cool weather, if I am not doing much physical work, I probably drink 1-2 liters of water per day, along with approximately that much again in other liquids.

In hot weather, such as last weekend doing yard work, I'm sure that I drank at least 3 liters in 6-8 hours.

My wife says that neither her mother nor her grandmother ever drank water (and the elders did not drink alcohol, either) and I am guessing that many of their health problems originated from chronic, low-level dehydration.

It must be a good picture, it's extremely poofy.  I need to get it thinned out a bit everywhere.  When I drive with the windows down it blows into my eyes and that's usually how I judge when I need a haircut.

Tp4 recommends hair-wax...

It's better than gel,  won't flake, and generally, most wax-es leave your hair "re-mold-able" throughout the day in case it gets -winded-

If you HAVE to use gel,  just get the Got2Be Glu like all the cool kids..  It's pretty strong, really cheap, and quite moisture resistant..  I was watching a dolphin show in the splash-zone, and my hair stayed in tact..

Honestly, once I get back from this trip I'm taking in a month I'm thinking of going crazy and cutting a buncha hair off, something kinda like this at the closer to what I have now, or this at the end with more change.  The only issue is when I see this it tends to be on people with really tall faces and since my hair covers most of my head, I don't quite know what it'd look like.  I think I'm going to call up my ex's friends to do another look-over and see if they can tell me if something like that will work or not.

Otherwise, just shave your head in the summer and grow it long in the winter.

Ok.. that style certainly "looks cool"

But if you want it to feather like that,  there are only 2 ways.. and both are time-consuming.    Blowdrying/Ironing + wax..   OR hard-hairspray on the front, "flexihold-spray in the back".

Not really planning on using this to chase girls, but they both graduated cosmetology school so I definitely trust their opinion over mine :p

And this is what's keeping me from pulling the trigger.  Currently, my hair care is shampoo and conditioner every other day and I just towel dry and brush.  Nothing more, takes me about 2-3 minutes.  Dunno how I feel about actually having to care about styling.

And really, I'm quite iffy on the whole thing anyways.  And plus, if what everyone says about your hair following your mom's dad's patterns, then I'm going to start losing mine in my late 20s anyways.  Yea, unless I hit a point where I NEED to cut it (like if I was going to apply to Disney or something) then I would consider it then, but that just might be too much of a change for me at the moment.  Maybe if I could just tie my hair up and wear wigs all over the place  :))

Might as well.

Taken just before the traditional Champagne breakfast at my graduation last month.
Graduating here involves fancy hats, trucks, and a lot of alcohol.
In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

Dude, that hat is pretty hilarious.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I'm like 70% Swedish/30% Finnish so yeah, it doesn't get much whiter than this.

It's better than the ugly square american hats at least.

Wow!  She's grown so much, and so cute :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
