ChimpyFire:
I'm looking at the DZ60 PCB and Plate, but I was wondering if the below layout would work with Plate B of the DZ60

DZ60 plate = https://kbdfans.com/products/dz60-cnc-aluminum-plate?variant=39293765025931
DZ60RGB V2 PCB = https://kbdfans.com/products/dz60rgb-hot-swap-custom-keyboard-pcb?variant=22105030066224

As you can see I'm wanting to go with a 60% layout with arrow keys. On the product page for the DZ60RGB V2 PCB (link above) there's an arrow key layout (attached) that says it needs Plate B, however when going to the Plate B page it doesn't look like it'll be compatible.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks

Awesome, thankyou. As you could probably tell, it's my first keyboard and I don't want to buy incompatible parts!

No worries at all! Good on you for double checking.

I didnít mean that as an RTFM, but more to show you what to look for in the future.

Enjoy your new project and welcome!

Go Gurt Stick:
Is there a way I can dampen the sound of my keyboard without making the sound deeper? I prefer more of a higher-pitched sound compared to a "thocky" sound. If not, is there a material I can use that will deepen the sound the least compared to other materials? I currently am using roofing tape, a cutout of packaging foam to fill the battery compartment, and foam that came with my dz60rgb ansi v2 in my keyboard, and I'm just wondering if there is something else I can use to make it quieter, but not deeper, or at least not a lot deeper. And if there is not a material like that I can use, would it be better for me to use a brass plate instead of the cf one I am currently using? I have a tofu60 that I o ring modded (put o rings on the standoffs and through the screws) with Tealios v2, GPBT keycaps, and a 1upKeyboards cf plate. Just wondering what I can do to get a higher pitched sound while keeping the keyboard quiet. Thanks in advance.
