What was R4 on GMK is R3 on this, so yes there were. Nvm, I read his question wrong. However GMK Yuri ran when new novelties cost 500 EUR each to make a new legend for, and this being an SA set, it costs 50$ so he could expand those novelties for not much more.

Unfortunately not this time. This is just an experimental kit which should show if its feasible/possible to offer alps kits.

The cosmonaut helmet does not fit 1u key. Also i want equal scaling for novelties. So down scaling is a no go.

That would make it very busy. I've tried this already with GMK Yuri. Gaijin works because eastern cultures are using completely different letter/symbol style - compared to western cultures.

I've decided to take the space cadet approach and it works quite well.

The dual cosmos render without the punctuations looked better then the current version had they remained in the renders i would have gotten those but i guess i will see what i feel like when getting to the gb page.

So here’s a quick q for someone that might happen to know.  Are there any boards out there or coming up that will have alps compatibility with cherry PCB stabilizers?  Also, if so, are the plates out there for either alps switch with cherry plate or cherry PCB cutouts?  I think the M0110 has this (although it seems to be quite delayed), but I don’t know of any others.

As long as the pcb supports alps and that the gb owner is willing to release plate files then there are a number of people in the community that would be able to replace the cherry holes with alps ones, the main limiting factor would be the pcb itself. Depending on how popular this drop goes and if any other designers also run alps and assuming SP is willing to run them then there may be more pcbs made in the future that include the additional capacity assuming the people wanting alps is greater then those that complain about having a single hole they can't use in the pcb.

Yes, there are PCBs that support both cherry and alps switches that has support for cherry mx pcb mount stabilizers. I'm currently designing a alps-pcb because I wanted a PCB designed for alps (not designed for cherry but with alps support) with cherry stabilizer support, can do a GB (if I get some help) if there is interest. You can easily generate plates with cherry pcb mount stabilizers, but with alps switch cutout (or support both alps and cherry)

For the 40's kit, I would love to see the addition of an R4 Up to support those Ortho users who use a normal arrow layout in the bottom right corner (a very common layout for Ortho users).  If that isn't possible then an acceptable alternative would be the addition of an arrows kit.  Of course I would really like to see 40's support for the Cyrillic legends but I know that multiple versions of things like Ergo and 40's are rarely made so I understand -- that being said, if a few more keys existed in the regular mod kits then they could potentially support at least Ortho 40's.

That is possible. Tho it will be the new font and thus it will match only cyrillic or dual mods.

- Changed the icon mods to text only. Thing is i do not recognize any only icon mods except for Cherry style ones (because they are the best period ....). The standard icons i've seen on DCS profile do not appeal to me. I've seen a DCS set with only words mods and it looks way cleaner. I hope you appreciate this change.

By the way, any chance you could add Preonic support to the 40% kit? I'm missing a few 1u keys (in order of priority /for me/):
- R2 Delete
- R1 Backspace (could use a novelty instead, but I'd rather put the novelty cap to top left)
- R1 Esc, possibly accented (could use `~ instead and put Esc on R3)

So basically the only key I couldn't substitute well is the 1u R2 Delete (I'd have to use \|).

I know we're in a great minority compared to Planck users, but one can dream, right?

I think text only mods is the right call here. I'm typing this on DCS Toxic which has icon & text mods, & the icons are definitely not as sharp as similar GMK sets. Although they are the same icons as GMK uses on their icon & text mods, not sure what icons SP would would use for icon only modifier set one DCS?

Edit: Oh BTW, before I forget why I even started this response. Any possibility for getting a black R1 1u pipe key? I see you got a black tilde & it would kinda be a shame to not have a black R1 1u pipe key. I usually put the mod colored tilde & 1u pipe keys on my split backspace boards is why I would want to see it added to the set. Not sure how many other's would have interest in it for the same reason though?

- Changed ALT to ALTER in order to make it more wide, which matches ВАРИАНТ better. ALTERNATE is little bit too wide for 1.25u key...
