Damn people! go ahead and pay the invoices ! this will be one epic set. Initially my order included only the mods set and spacebars, I wanted to add also a full set but with all the chaos with my move forgot to do that, but when Ivan started the invoicing I have asked him to include also a full set even if I was short of money, believe me moving to another country with family and all of that it's not light on the wallet, but still I didn't want to miss this.
So go ahead and pay! there is no excuse, except something really bad is going on and in that case a short PM with a "sorry man" it's not that hard to do.

So true, don't be a jerk and stay silent and quiet, a quick notification to Ivan letting him know you're not going to be a part of this unique Miami Nights Special.  That's the decent thing to do if you've decided to go elsewhere rather than leaving Ivan holding the bag for you, expecting for you to still be there.

However.

I made sure to contact Ivan first telling him that due to me being on vacation (Japan is bloody expensive. Much more than anticipated) and only being paid once each month around the 24th I am simply unable, but not unwilling, to pay the invoice right now.

As soon as my paycheck comes in I will pay my invoice. He has my word on that.

I do agree however that if someone is in a similar situation it would be best to send Ivan a reply on the e-mail that was used to send the invoice to. Just to know if you are still buying the set and if MOQ is still in track.
That or risk losing out on this awesome set.

There were 50 outstanding right? Say $100ea for easy math. That 5k. Split by the 450 paid buyers is like 11 bucks each. So even if those orders are 2x or 3x larger, the difference isn't terrible. I'd be willing to just add 11 or 22 to my cost. It that math is right, it may actually be cheaper that way for us individually.

I am not sure if this is the place to ask this, or where I should maybe ask this, but: I have a Ducky Shine 3, which has those 4 extra keys above the numpad, the problem with this is that most GB's for keysets don't cater for these 4 additional keys, I usually have to find matching artisans for that position.

I am assuming others have this problem, what do we do about this (apart from not buying a ducky)?

You could use the extra Esc's and part of the 1800 kit if the profile is the most important part.

Basically I'm in several Group Buys already so after paying for this one, have already moved on to various payments of others.  Would love to help by buying more but currently I have thousands of key-caps migrating their way to my house and the Mrs is going to be extremely peeved.

This GMK set is extremely conservative but I thought that was a good thing for the oldies who appreciate some colour in their Legends, hence I was surprised with the lack of interest.  I suspect when these first get shipped out to you and you take the first photos suddenly you'll get a wave of newbies wanting to buy them, again we have this complete ignorance here regarding GMK key-sets and their colour-ways.

The coloured Legends are perfect because they can be used in any office situation (for those working in that type of habitat), so no worries about upsetting any Admins when they see your keyboard exposed like that in public  .

Just urging the newbs here that GMK is about the BEST quality key-set money can buy, so you can easily sell these if you feel that they do not suit your keyboard (only the insane would realize that fantasy).

That's the beauty of this Miami Nights Set, it can be paired off with a vast majority of other GMK mods so easily.

When you purchase real GMK Class, it shall always be ready for simple modifications and additions further on down the line with other key-sets.

I know this is probably too late and to be honest I didn't realize this to mention it in the IC phase.  But here's the thing:  This is the most 75% friendly GMK GB ever since it has a uniform colored F row (different colored F5-F8 which almost every set has really ruins the look for 75%'s). It also has R0 F row which is awesome for 75% for easy reach (It's not as much as a big deal on a TKL or full size since you need to move your hand anyway to reach the function keys).  HOWEVER, this set does NOT have the "75% support" like the GMK Classic Biege and GMK Hyperfuse has.  GMK Classic Biege has a R3 Home and R4 End so you can have the rightmost line in a 75% like this: pgup,pgdn,home, end.  The GMK Hyperfuse has a R2 pgup R3 pgdn and r4 end so you can have home pgup pgdn end.  The hyperfuse configuration is my preferred one but it's the more expensive one (3 keys instead of 2).  This is really the only thing which is needed for this to be a perfect 75% set.  I know it's not likely these will be added because the GB has already started but I'd thought I'd voice this instead of forever thinking what would've happened if I'd voice this.  Anyway this is a great set and I've paid my invoice of course
