I think it is, in a plastic bag they can move freely and should just rub against each other. In the trays they have the force of the tray pressing on them when they rub which could be just enough extra force to scratch them.

There won't be any Miami Nights without the moolah fronting up here so those who are honest and decent, time to hand it over.  Making Ivan wait isn't nice because it slows all of our expectations about ever receiving these key-caps before this coming Christmas.

Time between interest check, start of invoices and group buy itself may have been longer than some people expected and now decided not to get in could be a reason... I don't know that much about group buys, but could imagine that this is always a problem with that format, that in a interested check 400 people say I am in, fill out forms later, but than time goes by until invoices are sent out and they decide not to get it. Generally patience has to be practiced and trained

Not if you stick to your promises and statements that you make.  Those that do, find it easy to go forth in Life and achieve great things but those that back-track, deny or lie about their commitments, usually end up in Sh1t.

Where I work you hang by every word and promise you make to your crew, even when it goes against your own interests later on.  But that is what is meant by being a grown up and taking FULL responsibility in your own decisions when it comes to joining various Group Buys.

If you have to back out, do it during the SIGN-UP phase but hanging on till the very last payment date, is nasty and deplorable because poor Ivan is left holding the bag here on his own.
