Dyesub cap possibilities / lighter legend on darker base?
« on: Wed, 10 July 2013, 00:50:42 »
It may have already been discussed somewhere here already, but a quick search did not yield anything.

The idea:
Would it be possible to do an inverse dyesub, so take a lightly colored cap and dyesub the *entire thing* with a darker color, minus the legend?
Is this a stupid idea? Is it too expensive / time consuming / impossible?

I likes me some PBT keycaps but so far have gone legendless because I don't normally care for dark-on-light color combinations.

Imsto did some spongebobs that were fully dye subbed (top and side). He said they are very hard and expensive to produce.
