CC and Orange - Creamsicle set
« on: Mon, 04 March 2013, 23:34:32 »
Someone needs to make this happen, you know it to be true. Would anyone with group buy experience be interested in heading this up? White base with orange legends and modifiers with white legends.

Great, I guess I'll have to buy this set since it matches my tattoo. The artists where I had it done actually bought and ate Creamsicles while it was being done lol

That is PBT -- are you going to wait for PBT double-shots, or use black lettering on the orange keycaps?

I been thinking about this set for quite a while, but thought my orange fetish wasn't shared by others. I have contemplated getting a WASD engraved custom set and filling the engraving with enamel paint, but a true double shot set is really the way to go.

I tried a 4 key set in this colorway in the spring/summer last year. It was cancelled for low interest. Good luck.

Ah yes, creamsicle poker suits, gone the way of Miami. I think such colourways will have much better chances currently than last summer.

Seems like enough contrast.

Also would look good with many of the (GH) novelty and more common CC keys.

Mind if I put it in my after klaxon thread as an option since it seems like you're reticent to do this yourself?

Should run a gray/orange set as well, or just for the mods

Strangely enough, considering my general distaste, I'm not going to step on sherry's toes as he's supposedly selling orange/gray from gmk.

Go for it, because I don't have the time nor the experience to head up a GB. Glad to see people are into this though, and yeah doubleshot pbt would be the way to go, cost be dammed.

Respect for King Klaxon

i'm down for this, sounds tight if you have a white or orange keyboard case. i'm kind of down for everything but i think i do need to be wise in the maximum amount i would pay for a single set,

i guess i'm going to have to put away to a geekhack wallet rape fund with every other paycheck lol ... bah 6 months ago i wasn't even into this **** wtf

Yeah, we've only been talking about this set for 5 years! :))

Also, it's PBT dyesub, and DSA profile. So NO on both counts for me.

Why on earth did they make the font on the modifiers gray and not dark orange?  They screwed this by with their Seafoam set too.
