Hey everyone,

After over 2 years of work, I released the next version of my parametric keycap generator, seen here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2783650. It makes some pretty sweet keycaps I think:

What was initially just a way to generate a single keycap has become a massive, sprawling library. The library is still pretty simple to use; there are profiles for SA, DSA, DCS, OEM and G20 profiles baked in, as well as cherry mx / alps support. If you're not keen on downloading OpenSCAD to run it, you can mess around with custom keycaps in your browser by using Thingiverse's Customizer: https://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=2783650&code=c22c41eea358cee826bdc13a5f48aeef. Note that SA and DSA keycaps will probably time out due to their complexity.

Since the library is fully parametric, it can create an insane amount of keycaps. 14u spacebars, 2x2 POS keycaps, entirely new key shapes altogether, you name it. I have a couple of examples in the github documentation: https://github.com/rsheldiii/KeyV2#lets-go-i-wanna-make-a-custom-keycap but really, the sky's the limit. My dream would be for people to use this to rapid prototype new profiles or use it as a base to create artisans.

If there's any questions, let me know!
