NEC APC-H412 Mechanical Clicky Vintage Keyboard

BIN $55.00, free shipping











It's a bit yellowed, but otherwise looks in very good shape. (Seller: "Item is gently used appears to be in great condition.")

Switches would be NEC oval (clicky) sliders:





Chyros's NEC APC-H412 video review can be found here. I have one of these boards, and it's terrific, not quite like anything else.

I have a similar board (APC-H4100E) - one of the nicest keyboards I have ever typed on.

Actuation occurs just BEFORE the click, so if you're careful you can type silently on it.  Make a great game to play, trying to type silently, especially when everyone else in the house is asleep.

Mine also has the longest cable I've ever seen on a keyboard!

Love that large space bar!  Although I've never been a fan of clicky switches that can actuate before the click--they always seem a bit 'off' to me.
