Anyone in the Maryland/DC area with an MX Black board??
« on: Thu, 31 March 2011, 18:59:07 »
Sooo...I loved the reds. A lot. But they did feel quite light, and the Blacks being heavier appeal to me in theory. However, I would like to try them out to see if they are what I'm expecting and not too heavy to press that my hands would get tired when typing up papers or something of the sort.

I have large, strong, manly hands, so the weight for normal use I do not fear. However, I only want to own one keyboard (giving the white mx brown filco to my brother) and I have ~5 papers I need to write over the rest of the semester.

What I'm getting at is I want to try before I buy...and there's no place I can try the blacks around here :/

If anyone from the area knows where I can try blacks, I'll go there. If anyone lives in the area with an MX Black keyboard, would you mind if I tried yours out? College Park and Northern Baltimore are where I live, so if you're around there that's the most convenient, but I'll be willing to drive ~30 min to try out the keyboard. I'd much rather do that than spend $139 on a keyboard I don't like!

This is a strange request, I know, but I promise I'm not a serial killer!

Lol, don't be shy. Just pull the trigger on mx blacks.
It will take you some time, but you will love it more and more.

I'm a student that makes just enough to pay his rent every month ;) Blacks aren't a big seller in the classified section, so I figure I'd be taking a hit if I tried to sell it.

I know you love the blacks! (keyboards, I mean...) If you love them SOOOOOOOOO much...send me one to try ;)
