**GIVEAWAY** Nightcaps MX Fugu - Glow in the Dark

** if you are entering to win the cap, please post that at the top of your post

ETF sent these too me, I already have a Fugu so this one is finding a new home. The rules for entry are listed below.

Rules

Giveaway is open ONLY to people who did not win an ETF cap in the Monsters of March sale
Must be a member here since before January 1st, 2016
Must have at least 50 posts

Shipping will be free, CONUS will ship via 2/3 day flat rate, international will ship via standard post (if the winner is INTernational and wishes for another shipping method please pm me)

If you wish to enter, please post a comment below recounting a positive experience you have had on Geekhack. I will leave this open for 24 hours, after that time has past I will pick a post randomly via random.org.

Easy. The meet up with you, Hoff, and Mashby. It really hit home because it was the first time I had met up with any other enthusiasts. You were a pretty awesome guy minus the fact that you play Destiny on that crappy PS4 and Hoff and Mashby were cool as hell too. It's a night I still think about, honestly.

Great experiences are welcome in geekhack!

By the time I found out about the monsters of March, it was too late for me

. I really enjoy the fact that people giveaway things like this, and the vendors and keycap makers can interact with people directly. I won one from keykollectiv's trivia raffle and it was exciting participating in that. Hoping to win this one too!

What a great way to give back, thanks!
I will say that GH has really gotten me inspired by computers again and more so tinkering. I was generally unimpressed with my first mech board and thanks to this silly place i've met some great people and now appreciate the very long and tedious process of building and tweaking boards, soldering, making usb cables, and generally enjoying the "tools" i have to use every day at home and at work. I hope eventually I will "win" the opportunity to get my first artisan cap!

I came to Geekhack seeking knowledge of keyboards early 2013. I was so confused with the whole mechanical world, too many options.

I came to realize that the word sharing means so much in a community, sharing not only information but also happiness, we don't live by our own in this world after all .

3 years and I don't plan of stopping to share in this forum, though I'm geographically challenged.

all in all, here I am not only finding basic knowledge of keyboards in my times here but most importantly FRIENDS

I think I'll throw my hat in. haven't had the pleasure of owning one of ETF's caps yet.

but boy, where to start. I've had tons of positive experiences on GH. from kudos sketching my avatar, to demik sending me a cute PM outta the blue, or literally laughing out loud at tp's logic, or wasting work days and buying castles on slack. but it's probably the massive amount of generosity and goodwill floating around, even if it doesn't seem like it on the surface.

Positive experience: I sent a bunch of supplies to someone from GH to build a GON, and the guy went MIA for months. When he came back he couldn't find the clear switch tops I had sent to him. Shadovved went back to shipping from like 4 months ago and the guy found the tops and sent them to me. Proof things can look dire (and in this case the amount at stake was low) and still turn out well.

Geekhack has had so many positive things for me. Everyone here is awesome, and so nice. I have two that I would like to mention. The first was when i was looking for a original Cherry white on black set, and someone reached out to me just from a post on the Simple Questions thread, and offered me one at a very good price. Another thing that was positive doesn't really relate to me, but it makes me happy seeing it. It was so kind of people to help Air tree get a new HHKB after his was stolen. Awesome thing for people to do

Positive experience, aside from encountering this super duper give-away?
Has to be getting Aloe from Binge: I woke up in the middle of the night for his last sale, fully prepared this time, logged in to paypal, but didn't manage to snag any key. Still I was glad to see on here that my fellow Europeans GreyAmbience and Diokhan managed to snag some keys. I tried to get some sleep after that, failing miserably. When I checked GH in the morning I suddenly found some Aloe in my post. The euphoria I felt then obliterated my lack of sleep

Most certainly the greatest experience to date would be my dealings with KingRAMA, long story short the guy (king) basically went out of his way to get me some custom acrylic cut for my lightsaver, after getting the thickness a little off he wanted to give it another shot and again all within his own time/equipment etc. On top of all that graciousness he is a top guy to chat with keyboard related or not.
