Well... I'm disappointed with that outcome, but I am very proud of the Giants for stepping up and playing that hard. So much fun to watch. GO BIG BLUE!

I was rooting for you guys.  :(

And Oakland.  :(

And the Packers.  :(

This is not a good week...

I'm watching it on and off but so both fumble recoveries, AZ is really screwing up.

What a bunch of idiots... the Broncos let Manning play with a partially torn plantar fascia.

At least the Cardinals won last night...

He let himself play with it, too. Can he please just retire now that he beat that POS Favre and go buy the Titans?

And, despite it being sloppy, I'm happy the Cards won, too.

I've long since accepted that athletes will attempt to play through just about anything short of losing a limb, and it's the coaching staff's job to keep them from off the field.

And he needs to win one more game to get the wins record, so I'm sure he'll hobble out there for one of the Chargers games to get that win.

And, despite it being sloppy, I'm happy the Cards won, too.

Maybe now thousands of Seattleites can drop the charade that they were lifelong Seahawks fans all along...

Hahaha. Exactly. I blame the media for buying into his bull****, too, though. You being the Aaron Rodgers lover that you are, Hoff, should know that Favre basically ****ed him repeatedly.

And torn plantar fascia is EXTREMELY painful. It is basically losing a limb. He should not have been playing. Ugh.

Brett Favre is a joke. He should have retired when GB decided to go with Rodgers. In any case, Bart Starr is the ****ing man, forget about Favre.

I'm a GB fan, and Favre was my childhood.  Many great memories of him playing for my team.  I can hardly blame the guy for loving the game so ****ing much that he un-retired multiple times.  Gotta be tough to give up your career cold turkey.  Yes, I'm a Favre sympathizer.  Come at me.  >:D

Hah.  :-X  That's not the era I think of when I think Favre.  :P

I did have the pleasure of seeing him play his last game though.  Nothing quite like freezing your ass off as a layer of ice accumulates over your entire body after 3 hours of constant sleet in freezing temperatures.   :-\

Wooooo. Rob Ryan has just been fired as the Saints defensive co-ordinator.

This is what happens when the Redskins shut you out in the second half.

Well Brock wins his first start even though the refs did everything in their power to give the Bears the game.

Rooting against the Bears is in the blood of everyone born in the Midwest outside of Chitown...

I was a little conflicted about the Vikings-Packers game though... grew up in Minnesota, but really don't like Peterson.  :-\

This figures. I lived in Charlotte when Newton was drafted, but the rest of the Panthers were terrible. Now I live in Ohio, and the Panthers are kicking some major ass.

I'll probably go to a Browns game in a few weeks, since the kid unit's high school marching band will be playing at half-time, but in terms of the game, feels like I'm back in Charlotte ('popular' new QB, terribad team).

We're planning on moving out of Ohio in a couple years. Mark my words, history will repeat itself, and the Browns will actually be good once I move away!

OK, probably not.  :p

We have to hate every state in the Midwest, or states East of the Mississippi, or with warm weather year round, or with weather worse than even MN (i.e. Alaska, Montana, and Wyoming). So that leaves us with a few potential destinations that we are allowed to emigrate without completely disowning our motherland.

The way he was rolling around, it looks bad. He doesn't strike me as someone who would overreact. It does look like a hyper-extension of the knee.
